"Very thoughtfully kitted out holiday let. It was extremely spacious for 6-7 people. We loved the garden, hot tub and fire pit and spent a lot of time outside. The spa facilities are also excellent. Would recommend to all. Just one thing I would change are the beds. They were comfortable and had good mattresses but are low and can be tricky for the less mobile to get out of. All in all a wonderful relaxing and peaceful stay."

"Amber Glow was a lovely bolt hole for our stay near Glastonbury. The accommodation was spotless & well equipped. The garden area was ideal for our small dog & was very secure. There was some traffic noise as the accommodation is on a main road but this didn't bother us. You are in a prime location for Glastonbury, Frome, Wells & other areas."

"Great cottage and great location. Only 10 mins drive from Shepton Mallet which has a few supermarkets. The cottage had everything we need. Was especially good for my mum who has mobility issues as there is a toilet downstairs and walk in shower. Will was very helpful and communication was great."

"What a fantastic place to stay. The house was immaculately clean and very well kitted out. The food left in the fridge for us was an unexpected treat.The lights in one of the top floor bedrooms weren’t working when we arrived and although the owners did their best to get them repaired as quickly as they could it did take a few days. We did think the lounge would benefit from more comfortable seating and getting the tv to work was a challenge. We didn’t use the on-site facilities. Wellesley house is well placed to explore the area and all local facilities are available in nearby Wells.We were a group of seven friends from Somerset, Mid Wales and Ohio US and had a wonderful stay."

"We really enjoyed meeting Tim who showed us around Walnut Lodge and he and Laura can be emmensly proud of their creation. The complementary bottles from a local brewery were much appreciated and unexpected.For people visiting Somerset for the first time it would be an ideal location for exploring Wells / Glastonbury / Cheddar Gorge & Wooky Hole etc. In our case we explored different attractions and each evening we appreciated getting back to Walnut Lodge, viewing Glastonbury Tor from seats on the veranda with a drink in hand and appreciating the birdsounds and immaculate garden & surroundings. Comfortable bed. Sadly we were unable to extend our stay due to family commitments."
