"Nice manager ,clean room ,good bed, very nice outdoor sitting area with two propane fireplaces. There was no breakfast except coffee and a pre packaged danish. What we didn't like were the 3 shady characters that wandered the parking lot with their hoodies and cell phones and sat in the chairs for the customers outdoors for hours and also stood right by our window and door at night talking away in Spanish and looked right into our room, i don't know if they were supposed to be workers or what , but it looked like they were living in the hotel too.Very creepy. If they wouldn't have been there I would give the place a better rating"

"TreeTop Lodge was ideal for our friend-group reunion. The setting is beautiful. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The large living room/great room provided a gathering place for our whole group, and the house also provided places for multiple smaller conversations. The large screened-in porch was also a great meeting place. There are ample parking spaces in the driveway and on the street in front of and behind the house. The kitchen was well-stocked with all we needed. The whole house was immaculately clean. And our hosts were easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. We expect to return to TreeTop Lodge."

"Well-equipped, relaxed-feel house - a great base for walking and hiking. Sinks in most of the rooms are handy as there is just one full bath on the top floor, shared in our case by 6 of us (another bathroom in the basement one en-suite).One suggestion for improvement would be to have regular beds rather than trundle beds in two of the bedrooms. Montreat is lovely and the location was delightful."

"This spot was perfect for our couples weekend over Labor Day! The location was ideal. The house was the perfect mix of new and the old mountain house we were hopeful for! The special details and the knod to Montreat and the area were very nostalgic. The large tv for game day was perfect! We can’t wait to come back!"
