Wonderful country stay but close to the city

Excellent views and beautiful scenery and wildlife. The location was very clean and the people friendly but left you to your privacy. Definitely will stay again.

Rural retreat

This was a lovely peaceful place to stay. The house felt like a home and had everything we needed. We were pleased we had a car, it would’ve been difficult to access the property without one. It was only a short drive to the shops to get supplies. Tay cottage was private. We enjoyed sitting in the spa and looking out onto a paddock of sheep and the towns in the distance . We’d definitely come back if we had the opportunity.

Great location in the countryside, but close enough for day trips into either major city. Beautiful views all around the property. Check-in was simple, but check-out was a little less clear on what was expected of me. Overall though, I'd highly recommend this location.

This was our last stop of our 3 week travel around the country and exactly what we needed to wind down. The cottage is lovely, roomy and clean. Coffee in the hot tub in the morning was divine. As with very other rental, this one also had no oven mitts??? We had very little communication from the hosts but we didn’t have any issues or requirements so that was fine. We would definitely recommend the Tay Lodge!
