"Wonderful place! Very clean, very well appointed, lots of storage, very roomy. The flat is only a block away from a Sainsbury's, the #15 and #4 bus routes, as well as The Drake pub (excellent Sunday roast!), FF (delicious steaks), and other eateries. Charming!"

She recommended the local chippy for our tea - which we can confirm was excellent! My girls especially loved the Games Room which was exceptionally well equipped. "The cottage is located just over a mile from the A811 to Drymen. Be careful at the junction a road mirror for exiting would be useful, and is about 2 miles from Drymen which is a lovely village with good places to eat and drink. During July and August a pipe band plays on the village green on a Thursday evening. The cottage is surrounded by fields containing free range chickens and pigs and there was a small hen house in the cottage garden. Sadly during our visit the hens were on go slow and we...

"Dishwasher is a must. Cleanliness of cooking equipment lacking (no dishwasher, eco products?). Limited surfaces for food preparation or computer/printer connection. Beautiful bathroom upstairs, but sink has no mixer tap nor plug, and wet shaving is a trial given the mirror situation. Sleep quality affected by too small bed size.Unfortunately not the property for us. "
