Overall first class. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Staff polite, efficient and friendly. Food delicious. Only one minor gripe around slowness of service in restaurant. Breakfast was stunning. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely stay at the Townhouse, our room was amazing and the property is on a quiet street close to the centre of Ayr and the seafront. We would happily stay again.

I had an amazing 4 day stay at the Marine Hotel. My room was very comfortable and it had an amazing view of the golf course and across the sea to the Isle of Arran in the distance. All members of staff I encountered we very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The service was first class. I'm a wheelchair user and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was ok and had everything I need. The food was excellent and the room service was too. I highly recommend...

I arranged the trip for my son's 11th Birthday and he enjoyed it so much he said the hotel should have 5 stars. My boys loved the pool, the room, the food and the chocolate milkshakes. It's a beautiful clean area by the sea, with the lovely big park and amusements. I will definitely book here again.

Although the room was small it was well appointed with everything required. The owners update you re check in times and allow you into the room early if required. A great rate for a comfortable room.

A clean and quiet B&B close to Ayr beach and Pavilion, within walking distance of the town centre. The owner is helpful, just remember to let them know your approximate arrival time.

Property was quiet, a bit of noise from, other guests but only to be expected. This is quite a large hotel but we visited in February so I cannot vouch for what it is like in summer. Location is good and is convenient for beach, supermarkets and public transport. The staff we dealt with were efficient and friendly. We would visit again.

Harbour View room, top floor, has decent views of the beach and small harbour. Bathroom door handle needed a neater repair, room lock was a bit tricky and temporary heater had a broken foot. Super staff and breakfast was fine. Dining room view of the harbour great.

We liked how clean and fresh this property was. We found it very comfortable. Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers. There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins. The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition. All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive. We would love to return!
