Chateau Castigno is located in the absolutely stunning area completely picturesque. Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance. The cave is an architectural gem with a thoughtful caring winemaker at the helm. Delicious!

A unique and beautiful place with large rooms and peaceful surroundings. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. There is a village close by for restaurants. We enjoyed a great breakfast at the chateau. We had a wonderful stay, comfortable and clean with views of the beautiful countryside.

"No where to leave bags as no one at the hotel till 1500 we arrived on a Sunday. Room was dirty, and not cleaned in our 2 night stay. The shower gel ran out on the first day and not replaced. I wouldn’t stay again."
