Narbonne Hotel de Ville

We travel extensively and rarely have we been to such a beautiful hotel set in the most fantastic location. Our room was clean and comfortable, our meals in the restaurant superbly presented by cheerful and helpful staff, and the young male receptionist so very friendly. We would normally have given the property full stars EXCEPT we were very unhappy with the fact that a dog was allowed to roam around the serving and seating areas whilst guests were having breakfast. Too unhygienic for us! It appeared to belong to a member of staff who was not at all concerned that the dog was wandering around, sometimes taking food from diners. This was so wrong!

The room was clean and comfortable. Thefood and service was excellent. The owner drove us to the bus stop so that we could continue our journey to Perpignan. Very good value. We recommend

Parking was very difficult. We ended up scratching our car leaving the parking lot but a kind neighboor advised us that the only way out is backwards. Wish this tip was added to the guide. Besides this, great location, Clean Modern appartment
