Ryokan in Gifu

"This is a great option for Takayama area. There’s four private onsens that you don’t book, they are first come first serve. We used them 3 times, and only once did we have to wait about 15 mins. The staff is so friendly, and the room/ hotel was clean! Good location, it’s not far at all from the busy food/ shopping streets in Takayama and still in a very quiet area! "

"Room is like an apartment. It had washer/dryer, kitchen. Lots of spaces. Great location next to both bus and train station. Great base for walk around old Town and go-to shirakawago. Definitely first pick when we in area."

To my relief, the hotel front desk contacted me immediately when their staff found my handbag. Everything in my handbag was left untouched. "
