Love the traditional Japanese home vibe it has. And also as we checked in late at about 9pm, the place was handled by this elderly who could not really speak English, but check-in was still very smooth! And he is very nice and friendly too! Breakfast was also authentic japanese dishes(not buffet) and was different for each day during our 2 nights there. Everything was impressive for this accomodation, and it has free shuttle bus to the town which was really useful! Reason being the hotel is situated at a hilltop, so going up and down could take some work! Our first stay in a ryokan. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was primarily Japanese, although they had toast and coffee. It was outstanding. It was a very nice place although a little hard to get to by foot from the train station. The tourist office told us there it was 20 minutes by foot but I was longer and uphill a lot. There is a shuttle from the ryokan to the train station.
