The beautiful landscape that can be seen is the volcano Etna and the Ionian coast: from the area of ??Syracuse, Catania and Messina up to Taormina and Calabria. House is located on the slopes of Etna, 300 meters above sea level surrounded by the orchards and the Etna Park. The apartment is divided into 3 rooms and 3 lofts restored and furnished in Sicilian style elegant, simple and functional, the latter used for the sleeping area. Wir waren mit dem Objekt sehr zufrieden. Es lag idyllisch abgelegen und ruhig. Unsere Gastgeber Martyna und Domenico waren sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Sie machen für uns telefonische Restaurant - Reservierungen, boten Ersteinkäufe an, gaben uns gute Tips uvm. Der wirklich sehr große und schöne Pool wurde stets sauber gehalten. Die Außenanlagen waren auch sehr gepflegt und schön landestypisch gestaltet. Nicht so angenehm war, dass es keine Auflieger auf den Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten gab. Alles in allem haben wir zu sechst einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt gehabt. La piscina è sempre sporca,essendo immersa nel verde potrebbe essere normale, ma no io parlo proprio di sporco sul fondo. Infatti nell’unica giornata di sole, non ho avuto il coraggio di fare un bagno. La casa anche è sporca, piena di ragnatele, lenzuola sporche,capelli nella doccia e asciugamani sporchi di trucco. Les draps, serviettes et torchons sont fournis. Les trois pièces (chambres en mezzanine) ont la climatisation. La piscine est très grande, les propriétaires très gentils, disponibles et cependant discrets nous ont permis de nager tard le soir éclairant la piscine, pour la plus grande satisfaction de nos trois enfants. La vue est imprenable sur Giarre, la mer et l'Etna. Tout a été mis à notre disposition pour déjeuner à l'extérieur et profiter de la terrasse et de la piscine. Une énorme piscine (à partager sur les 2 locations mais il y a vraiment de la place) entourée d'une belle terrasse. La maison est certes rustique mais très propre, avec 3 salles de bain et tout le confort nécessaire. Martyna est adorable ce qui ne gâche rien . L'endroit permet de visiter l'Etna bien sûr er la cote Est. Pour ceux qui recherche les plages : ce n'est sans doute pas le meilleur endroit pour cela (roche volcanique et galet au rendez vous) . Helaas hadden we niet duidelijk uit de omschrijving vantevoren begrepen dat er twee woningen op hetzelfde terrein liggen, en dat de eigenaar er ook woont. Dit betekende dat het zwembad gedeeld werd, en er kwam ook nog bezoek van de eigenaren om te komen zwemmen. Het was erg warm en slecht geslapen omdat de airco 6 dagen lang niet functioneerde. De oven bleek al 4 jaar niet te werken, nadat we inkopen gedaan hadden (...) en we werden verzocht bij de eigenaren te komen koken, hetgeen uiteraard gastvrij is, maar niet in lijn met onze verwachtingen. In de communicatie werd duidelijk gemaakt dat we niet moeilijk moesten doen, en eventuele op- of aanmerkingen bij HomeAway moesten ventileren; dus het principe geen verantwoordelijkheid naar de klant toe te dragen en bezoeker van "kastje naar muur" te sturen. ##### Suzanne S. Nous avons passé une semaine hors du commun : une location très agréable dans une vieille maison bien refaite et bien équipée ( une salle de bain par chambre ! Mais attention, il y a des escaliers pour monter aux chambres .) .D'un côté de la terrasse , vue époustouflante sur la mer , et de l'autre ..l'Etna , si beau et l'air si proche , en pleine éruption cette semaine-là ! L'endroit est tout à fait calme, d'une grande propreté et le jardin est très beau. Les 2 propriétaires sont charmants: ils sont toujours près à rendre service, à donner des conseils tout en restant très discrets. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la magnifique demeure familiale de Martyna et Dominico !!! Encore un grand merci pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité !! La maison était tout à fait conforme à l'annonce, c'est un véritable havre de paix, tout y est, le confort, une vue spectaculaire sur la baie de Giarre et sur l'Etna que l'on peut admirer sans s'en lasser !!! La piscine est vraiment très grande et les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié son beau plongeoir. Le gîte de 6 personnes est fait de telle façon, que chaque chambre (de 2 pers) peut être tout à fait indépendante, avec sa propre salle de bain, son Wc et son accés direct sur la belle terrasse.
