"On our way from Cape Town to the wonderful Pure Nature Lodge in Paterson we stopped twice at The Old Trading Post for one night stop-over. We really enjoyed it and on the way back to Cape Town it felt already like coming home :-) And the pizza dinner was really outstanding - really the best pizza we ever had!!!"

No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue"

The most delicious breakfast awaits you at a time of your choce, the bread is homemade. Highly recommended is their preordered pizza in the evening. The host is coincidentally the guide for the river trips, so has exceptional knowledge on the nature of the area.
