Room is big and spacious. Hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. Jacuzzi and sauna excellent. 20 mins walk to malls. Many small eateries that served good food. Hotel breakfast very good with different varieties everyday.

We had a beautiful, big suite at the Gurney Bay Hotel. The beds were so comfortable and the housekeeping was fantastic. The doorman and staff were lovely. The hotel is certainly a bit older but it has great facilities and a luxe feeling. The location was great - very close to malls and attractions. The only downside was the room service but would definitely stay again.

We stayed there for 3 weeks and we had a great time. Great foods, buffet or non-buffet at the hotel, friendly and helpful staffs, clean. Its located within walking distance to major shopping malls, Gurney Plaza, Gurney Paragon, hawker stalls. Plan to stay here again on our next trip.

Very nice room and the staff were helpful as we had some issues with our room cards, they were very kind. The hotel is very clean and tidy, breakfast and dinners are a little pricey, and very good location when trying to explore Georgetown, nothing is super far away. Overall great hotel, definitely would book again.

An excellent stay with fantastic service! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and equipped with all the basic amenities. We were pleasantly surprised to be granted an early check-in at 11:30 AM, and the front desk was accommodating enough to extend our check-out to 1:00 PM. The breakfast spread was also highly enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful 9/10 experience!

Although the hotel is a bit dated, the room is spacious with high ceilings that create an open feel, along with plenty of storage. The bathroom is clean, odor-free, and well-stocked with amenities, though bathrobes are not provided. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Unfortunately, the clientele tends to be quite loud and often ignores queue etiquette, which can lead to noise issues if you stay next to them. Overall, given the reasonable price, the ocean-view rooms offer great value for money.

Very well located and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I had enjoyed the live music with a great band. But the mattress was terribly firm. Gave me back pains in the morning. We had buffet dinner on a Friday night and the food was sub standard. The smoked salmon did not look very fresh. The chendol was terrible and the fried chicken was over done. The next night we had rib eye and it was overdone even though we had asked for medium rare. The bathroom needs to be upgraded to a walk in bathroom. But it is still good value for the price.
