Overall it was excellent stay, though the reception and the concierge were most of the time occupied, most of the time, 1 person at the reception, and 1 or none at the concierge, so it was not so convenient to sort out a few minor issues. Nice view from the balcony, good foods and service and pleasant pool and gym.

The view was great. The swimming pool was scenic. You are not to far from some of the towns attractions. The breakfast options is one of the best i've had. Felt like I was having dinner for breakfast at times.

Generally a decent hotel with great facilities and room size. Could have put more emphasis on small details like choice of light switches (looks white and very plain, not matching the vibe). One thing to note that if you book room on the victory annexe, you’re not able to use facilities (swimming pool and breakfast) at the heritage wing. But you got your own pool and breakfast location at Victory Annexe. Overall it’s still a great option at Penang!

Great hotel. Rooms are spacious, well appointed, great pool and amazing breakfast. What was lacking was the ability of the front desk staff to provide good restaurant suggestions. There should be a list that the hotel provides with suggestions. I would definitely recommend the Eastern and Oriental Hotel and would stay there again.
