When I asked to be moved was told I would have to pay for up grade. Then I was offered a 3 br unit that had just had a new floor put down and the smell was very, very strong from the adhesive used and I had to decide what was more likely to sent me into an Asthma attack. The room I had needs some tweaking but has a nice view of the stream. However, the place is getting older and the prices keep going up so I may be forced to research other locations. I look for the VALUE I receive for the dollars I spend. The value at Park Place at one time was really good.......now, not so much. We still like Park Place and hope they do not price themselves out of the market (at least for me). It has been renovated and looks so much better than this picture. We loved the location. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Park Place a few times over the years. The location is ideal being right next to the park . But the condition of the property has clearly declined. There are examples of lack of maintenance all over the common areas.We own rental condos in other areas so are familiar with what is reasonable . The unit we stayed in could use renovation. Formica countertops and spotted carpets with 20 yr old white appliances doesn’t work anymore except for tenants seeking only cheap accommodations. Worst, there was hair in the tub, the kitchen floor was sticky, and several day old, moldy, coffee was still in the coffee maker. ##### Joel D.
