Unfortunately, disappointed.

This was our second year spending spring break in Gatlinburg. We chose this cabin for obvious reasons, it was gorgeous! We have 3 young kids who were really excited to use the pool. We decided to pay extra to have the pool heated for some of our stay. When we went to access the pool it would not turn on. We reached out to see how to turn it on and were instructed to call for maintenance. However once we opened the pool cover, the water was dirty and murky. Not something my family intended to deal with considering we paid extra to be able to use the heated pool. I requested a refund for the heated pool fee after we left but was told no because we didn’t take pictures or call to have someone come fix it. Sorry not our jam when we are on vaca. Otherwise the cabin is wonderful. We saw bears right outside in the woods.

The cabin is beautiful! Be prepared for major curves during the drive, and a very steep driveway. The upstairs room is pure comfort! And gorgeous! The cabin literally looks like the pics, No surprises to be expected. Its amazing. We received our code an hour before check-in time. There was an info binder available to educate us about the cabin and the locations of fire extinguishers available. There were different directions in it than what we were informed to do via text when it came to check out, so be sure to keep up with your messages from the owners. I would suggest bringing a small portable speaker if you want to listen to any music while out back on the patio, and a lighter to light the grill. Bring your own comfy pillow if sleeping in the guest room (on the bunks). They're definitely made for tiny people or children instead of adults if you're renting and wanting it to sleep adults and not children. The spa out back is so amazing!
