Even through all the rains and cloudiness we were able to enjoy the views from the balcony, especially the beautiful rainbow that showed on our last day. We were also able to see a total of 5 bears! Very cool! The host was very attentive in sending emails and all the info we needed right before our visit. The reviews helped us the best. The one question I didn’t think to ask before booking was if there was a requirement to use stairs. There is. It was a 2nd floor condo and no elevator. My wife has a disability and my old knees aren’t the greatest. We did OK getting our stuff up and down the stairs, but we would’ve preferred an elevator. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues that needed fixed. But that didn’t negatively impact our trip. We love the view and had a great stay. If we go back to Gatlinburg, we would love to stay there again. Max responded to any question very quickly. We had a couple small issues and Max was so fast to correct it. The location is beautiful. I will say the roads going up are winding and steep but it’s worth it. It’s about 15 min drive into Gatlinberg, and still close to pigeon forge. Over mountain is also very close. Over all location is great! ##### Heather B.
