Hand-Hewn Log Cabin near Downtown, Sleeps 6

Step into your new favorite place to call home in Gatlinburg, TN! This is a two-bedroom genuine Log Cabin located in a private setting in the desirable Chalet Village area of Gatlinburg, TN. The decor adds to the charm and elegance of the cabin. The cabin is constructed of hand-hewn logs and features hand-carved wood trim, both inside and out. The three-levels of this well decorated cabin include a long list of comforts and amenities.

Two king size bedroom suites and a sleeper sofa will comfort you after those long days of hiking in the Smoky Mountains. Each bedroom suite has a walk out deck on its level, closet, 2 dressers, Roku TVs and attached ensuite, so unpack those clothes and make yourself at home.

The Living Room on the main level is home to a Queen sized sofa sleeper, a loveseat double recliner, and a single recliner, and a 65 inch 4k Roku TV and DVD player. Off of the living room is a sitting area/ office with desk. Grab your favorite book and enjoy your surroundings. We also have a selection of books and games for your enjoyment. Free Wi-Fi is provided if you need to bring your work along with you, or just search any of the attractions that are nearby.

The Living room boasts a gas fireplace to keep you warm on those chilly days and nights. Fireplace season is during cooler months typically October through March.

Also on the Main level, you will find a fully appointed kitchen which includes all of the dishes, pots, and pans you could want. We even provide Instant Pot, griddle, blender, a crock-pot and spices! You should have no trouble cooking in if that's your preference.

Entertainment options abound. A game room which includes a custom log pool table, 2 recliners and electric fireplace, and multicade with 60 classic video games, 4K Roku TV/DVD and stereo system will keep kids as well as adults happy. And after a full day of exploring the mountains, you will be excited to relax in our soothing hot tub.

Three levels of covered decks allow one to take in the tranquil setting of this cabin and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Enjoy nature in our serene back yard. Swing on the porch swing as you enjoy the peaceful surroundings! Looking out onto the yard, you may even spot a bear! Magnificent seasonal views of the Great Smokies especially from the top deck/bedroom suite.

Bear Moon Cabin is located in the sought after Chalet Village area of Gatlinburg. It is located just 1.6 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the sttip of attactions there. We are 1 mile to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Lodge and amusement park. Take the bypass for a quick (and beautiful) 30 minute trip to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.
There are three club houses which include outdoor swimming pools, fitness center, game room, tennis courts , and playground equipment all included in your rental. (Swimming pools open Memorial Day and stay open through Labor Day or as long as the weather allows.)

We enjoyed that log cabin with its cute decor. the kitchen was well-equipped as were the bedrooms. Both bedrooms had en suite bathrooms. The living room area was nice with a big screen TV and fireplace. We liked the decks on each level.

We had a fabulous 25th wedding anniversary celebration at this cabin. Hosts were awesome. Hemma, host stayed on the phone with us while we were driving because we got turned around on road. She insured we arrived safely. We saw bears almost every day at property. Hot tub was a bonus.

Weekend Trip To Gatlinburg

The property was very convenient to Gatlinburg and only a short drive to Pigeon Forge. It was very clean with comfortable beds. Can’t ask for much more out of a stay. We were very impressed and would stay again!

Wonderful Spring Break Getaway

We had a great stay at Bear Moon Cabin! The cabin was immaculately clean, cozy and perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the mountain views and it was the perfect home base for exploring Great Smoky Mountain National Park as well as downtown Gatlinburg. Check in/check out was a breeze and excellent communication from the host!

Excellent Cabin and Vacation

The cabin is very clean and comfortable for 4 adults. We loved sitting on the decks spending time in the mountains and relaxing. The cabin is a perfect location for Gatlinburg, Pigeon forge, or the National parks. The Cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for 4 days. The owners are very responsive and courteous if you need anything. We highly recommended and look forward to future vacations at the cabin.

GREAT STAY

We had a great stay. The cabin was well appointed and very cozy. It had a great cabin feel with all the comforts and technology you would need. The location was great as we were there to hike in the National Park. We saw bears at the cabin every day we were there. We would stay here again for sure!

Great location and accommodations

This cabin was perfect for our family. The check in process was easy and the hosts even left a birthday cake to celebrate my daughter’s birthday- a wonderful and thoughtful gesture! The arcade was a big hit with the kids and we loved the hot tub. It was only a few minutes away from over mountain and downtown Gatlinburg. Perfect location and great accommodations!

We spent New years week at Bear Moon & I was not disappointed one bit! It’s very quaint and cozy. We had plenty of room for everyone. Even cooked New years lunch. Played games & the pool table was awesome, too! And contact with the host was on point!

Cozy, clean, accommodating

This house is perfect for a group of 4 adults, or a family with kids. They had 3 cute decks with seating and the hot tub was perfect for the cool evening. We didnt spend as much time as we normally would in a cabin, because of the short stay, however had we been there longer it'd been perfect for just relaxing or letting kids enjoy the downstairs games.

Had a quick getaway for our first trip to Gatlinburg. Saw a bear walk across the property within the first hour of being here ! The cabin is very well equipped for a comfortable stay.

Mountain Getaway

We drive from Dallas, Texas to meet our adult son who lives in Pennsylvania. Our 16 hour drive was rewarded with a vista view of the Smokey Mountains and a warmly lit beautiful cabin. Cabin seems a diminutive title for this beautifully appointed home. There was plenty of entertainment for those who want to stay in. So many things to do nearby for those with children. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a pet free stay.

Fantastic family getaway

What a beautiful cabin! My wife, 17yr old, 8 yr old and I absolutely loved this place. Very spacious, clean, and well taken care of. Some of the nights my kids wanted to stay in and just enjoy the game room and hot tub. We had such a nice, much needed, family vacation. Very convenient location. So close to the park, downtown Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. Hemma was very helpful and responsive too!

Sis in law 1st time

This cabin was perfect for our lil get away!! It was our sis in law's first ever trip to Gatlinburg!! The loft was beautiful & had a phenomenal view!! The bottom deck was the star with a good soak in the hot tub!! Also the video games & pool table was a great addition!! We were very pleased with our stay!! The owners were very quick to get back when we had a question!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
