We got there everything looked great we were so happy. Well we realized the refrigerator and freezer was broke. We lost all our food. $50 worth of crablegs and shrimp. Not to mention other things we brought from home. We got up with the people who were supposed to take care of it. Needless to say the whole week they did not fix it call us back or compensate us for anything!! We had planned on cooking on our trip to save money. Needless to say we had to end up eating every meal out. It cost us so much money we didn’t have extra money for anything. It made our vacation very stressful!! Furniture really needs to be something better. Seems old and uncomfortable. Some light switches for example were one on the opposite side of the room to control the light and another switch on the opposite side of the room to control the ceiling fan of the same fixture. Hot tub leaks down to the bottom porch right by the doorway making it slick to walk on. Really weren’t enough towels etc for 4 people for 6 days. A lot of doors inside need work so they will close easier. No kind of instructions to work the fireplace or the hot tub. The pool was nice other than it really needs a handrail to hold on to to enter and get out of the pool. Very difficult getting in and out of. Because of that we didn’t really use the pool much. Overall this cabin didn’t really meet our expectations for the cost we paid. ##### David B. We enjoyed the pool and game room upstairs. It was nice having a jacuzzi tub in every bedroom. We saw bears every night we was up there. Very good location, close to everything in Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean and everything worked as required. The cabin was in a great location and the view is breathtaking. The drive up is a bit scary at night if you miss the bypass or coming up from downtown but it’s not bad during the day. I wish I would have known the pool entrance is outside. There is no access from the house to the pool. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and communication with the property was great. We did see bears twice, once at night driving back to the cabin and the next day driving down to Anakeesta. ##### Lorena B. We left early because there were rats and bugs, everything was very dirty. Also, there was a construction going on next to the house. The dust was everywhere and the noise was disturbing us. Nobody let us know about that before we reserved.I contacted the management for help, they said someone was going to come to check on rats and stuff but nobody ever came. I asked for a refund for the days we didn’t stay but they denied that.This was the worst vacation ever for us. ##### Khalida A. I kept being told someone will reach out to me, but let’s just say no one ever showed up and they only communicated with me when I reached out to them. It was always we’re so sorry, we’re reaching out to them now blah blah blah. I would put the pictures up but since I’m dealing with this the legal way I will not do that. However, nearly two weeks after our stay we were charged for things we did not use that they said were broken in rooms we did not occupy. WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHARGED FOR THINGS YOU DID NOT BREAK. We travel often and have never had this issue. I contacted the host/owner and didn’t get an answer as to why it took two weeks for them to claim we broke things. We are responsible adults and would have reported any property damage. ##### Penny M.
