What household supplies are provided? – We get you started with 1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, mini dish detergent, dishwasher pods, 1 laundry detergent pod, kitchen trash bags, and travel/hotel size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion. 3\. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen plus a griddle, blender, toaster, waffle iron, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot. 4\. Do you provide any baby items? – Yes! We provide a high chair, pack n’ play, and baby gates where stairs apply. 5\. Do you provide a grill? – Yes! And it is propane. 6\. Do you provide fire wood? – No need, the fireplace is gas. 7\. Do you allow pets? – No. Under no circumstances do we allow pets. 8\. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? – Yes! Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay. 9\. Is there a community club house and pool area? – Yes, in Chalet Village, we have 3 community pools and clubhouses. The pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend in May through Labor Day Weekend in September. 10\. Is the price flexible? - We do NOT offer discounts, nor do we eliminate or reduce any of the fees. 11\. When is the second payment due? – 30 Days prior to your stay. 12\. When will I get the address and cabin access info? - Address, door code, and driving directions will be sent in a separate email after your final payment is made. 13\. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4pm and you must checkout prior to 10am on the day of your departure. 14\. How do cancellations work? - Cancellations or shortened stays that are made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will be fully refunded. Cancellations or changes that are made within 60 days of the arrival date are non-refundable. 15\. Do you provide travel insurance? - If cancellation is a concern, we do recommend the purchase of Cancellation Protection from CSA (this does not go through us). 16\. Can I cancel if the weather is bad? – Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded. 17\. How is the drive up to the cabin? – It is a 9 minute (2.3 mile) drive up the mountain. The roads are well maintained and paved. However, there are some steeper parts that are "scary" for some people. 18\. Do I need 4-wheel drive? – Only if snow or ice conditions are present. It’s basically a rule of thumb for all mountain roads in this area, that if ice or snow conditions are present, you should have 4-wheel drive or snow chains. 19\. Is this cabin secluded? – This cabin sits on is almost an acre. There is currently one neighbor to the left (about 100 feet away). 20\. Was this area affected by the 2016 wildfires? – Yes. You may see evidence of trees and properties that were affected by the wildfires. Much of the cleanup has been done, and a lot of greenery has come back. 21\. Will I hear construction noise? – It is possible that you will hear construction noise. Just as we rebuilt ours, others are doing the same. 22\. What TV package / channels do you provide? – We provide the highest package that our cable provider has. This includes premium movie channels and sports channels, including HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, TMC, Starz, Starz Encore, NFL Redzone, and all the sports Networks. 23\. What type of internet to you provide? – We provide unlimited cable internet with Wi-Fi. 24\. Do you ever reduce the stated prices – On occasion, if upcoming unsold dates remain, we may reduce prices for those unsold dates. That will already be reflected in the pricing that you see here. 25\. There was a label on every drawer and cabinet describing what went in that spot. The game room was amazing with a really nice pool table. The hot tub and decks were fantastic with an amazing view. Getting to the cabin is a little treacherous because it is a very steep and windy road, but that is not the property's fault. I would definitely stay here again! ##### Jarod B. We were lucky to find this location with an amazing view! The outdoor space overlooks the road from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg. The cabin was great for our family. The views from both decks were amazing! It was close to hiking trails in the Smokies and also Gatlinburg town. Our family enjoyed cooking on the grill, eating outside on the deck and playing all the games in the game room. The bedrooms on different levels worked well for us, giving all couples some private space if needed. ##### meg g. Communications and expectations were clear from the start and the house lived up to the hype. The home was just as described, and very comfortable for everyone involved. The views from each deck were so lovely to enjoy throughout the day and evening. The home was very well stocked, from the kitchen to the game rooms - which made our cooking plans easy to execute and our evenings with the family stress free. Everyone took advantage of the game room (pool and foosball!) and we were able to utilize the table downstairs for multiple family game nights - and the adults all loved the hot tub to finish off the days. Checking in was incredibly easy, the cabin was very clean, the amenities were great, and everything was perfect. The beds were comfy, the game room kept my 9 year old busy. We cooked breakfast and dinner one day and the kitchen had everything we needed. Theirs a great market less than 1 mile away that had everything we needed for the week as well. The view was perfect, it was quiet and cozy! Can’t wait to stay again. ##### Amanda C. All the amenities were great. There was a good bit of snow on the ground. So we didn’t use the top deck at all. It we definitely took advantage of the game room, and second deck. The hot tub and fire pit were a hit as well. I did have to cleanup the wiring and internet service to get it working when we got there. But it was no big deal really. The kitchen, dinning and living rooms were perfect for our group of 8\. Amazing views. To prepare it is up very high on the mountain and you do have to drive up on a kinda tricky road. It says 5 minutes from town but that is not walkable. I felt it was worth it for the view and privacy. ##### Megan L. Games room and hot tub were definitely a hit with our family. Community pools are not heated and were a huge disappointment for our family since evenings remain too cool to ever heat the pool. Our family had a wonderful time in the Smokies and our stay at Longview Lodge was outstanding. From booking to check-in everything ran smoothly. The cabin was exactly as described. Kitchen was well stocked with small appliances, cookware, dishes and glasses. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and very clean. Game room was exactly as expected. Hot tub and views were awesome! At the end of our stay, I contacted property management to report very minor maintenance issues and spoke to a very nice gentlemen. I would highly recommend both this cabin and this rental company and will book with them again for our future stays. ##### Carrie G. Well on this trip, I didn't know but I was getting proposed to. My fiancé proposed on the balcony downstairs. It was a gorgeous view and the cabin was beautiful! The drive up the mountain was not bad at all. The road was a little curvy but nothing to severe!! We all had a wonderful time. We all said we will book this cabin again!! ##### tanner m. The cabin had beautiful views and was very clean. The only things we didn’t like were the roads getting up to it (and we are mountain people so it was not that) the road is very narrow and hard to navigate. As for the cabin, it needs to be touched up. The walls need a fresh coat of paint and the furniture needs an upgrade.
