Are there bears? Yes, bears are common in the area. While they generally do not interact with humans, please use extreme caution if you see a bear and do NOT feed them. Is the cabin close to nearby attractions? Yes! The cabin overlooks the city lights of downtown Gatlinburg and is less than a 10-minute drive to the action. It’s also just minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park and the new observation bridge, the largest in North America. The Ober ski resort is also less than a 10-minute drive away. Is smoking permitted? No smoking is allowed inside the cabin or on its decks. The kids had a great time playing pool and air hockey after relaxing in the hot tub. It was located near town with lots of activities. I wouldn’t recommend driving in the dark as the mountain roads are winding without guard rails in areas. ##### Jenny L. The only negative was the roads to get up high, but to be expected! Door dash even delivered groceries and pizza to us! It was so nice to do both without having to get in downtown traffic. This place is the perfect location to get around to anywhere you need quickly. The house was decorated for Christmas and was well stocked. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. ##### Brett B. The view from the second story is truly beautiful. The cabin itself is very nice! It was a wonderful fit for my little family and my parents. The view is as good as it sounds and we had bears visit the first night! The location is great for Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and all of the great hiking in the mountains. We had 3 older teens with us and they loved having the upstairs game room at night after we returned to the house. We will definitely be back!!! ##### Erika A. The host was organized with all of the info. The beds were super comfy the showers were hot (very important to me). The house was decorated for the holidays and they did a stunning job. The location is perfect. Close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but away from the hustle and bustle. The property accommodations were by far the best we’ve experienced from any Vrbo listing we’ve ever visited. The light fixtures, remotes, and even cabinets were labeled and all necessary information was posted clearly. The owner was friendly and communicative. It is so beautiful! Our kids are all under age 9 and it was great for all of them. The game room and bunk room was perfect for the kids as well. Million Dollar View really is an awesome view...Everything is new and clean. We had a small issue with the kitchen sink and the owner took care of it right away so communication was great.
