This house is located on a mountain and navigating winding, curvy and sometimes narrow roads is required in order to reach the home. All roads are paved the entire way to the home. Guests are encouraged to arrive before sunset on check in day in order to ensure a smooth, initial arrival. \*\*A few important details\*\* Must be 25 in order to book and the person who books must be present for the entire stay. No 3rd party bookings. If a 3rd party booking is identified, the reservation will be cancelled and no refund will be issued. The cabin is professionally cleaned after every stay and all linens/towels are provided. We also provide an extensive starter pack of essentials for every stay (hand + dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper). However, depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase additional supplies. PARKING: Four (4) full size vehicles will fit in the private drive directly in front of the cabin. ACCESS: The front door has an electronic keypad for contactless check in. All access codes will be provided to you at least 24 hours prior to arrival unless it is same-day check in. Must sign rental agreement upon booking. A $500 security hold will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 5 days after departure, if no damages are reported. We encourage all guests to purchase TRAVEL INSURANCE through the platform or privately. SECURITY/CAMERA: There is ONE ring camera located above the front door for check in/check out and security purposes. The camera has video/photo/recording capabilities. Do not tamper with (cover, unplug, etc.) the camera. This is a SMOKE FREE Cabin and Premises for safety reasons. If you smoke inside the cabin or on the property, you will be charged $250, plus the increase in cleaning fee, as well as any damages. NOTE: We do not send maintenance to the property during your stay unless it is a true emergency. Only after you depart. No late check-out or early check-in. Our team is amazing and runs a tight schedule. Checking out late or arriving early impacts their ability to turn the cabin for you or the next guests. Please be respectful of their time and ensure an on-time departure. (Please note, failure to vacate the property by 10AM departure day may result in the assessment of a $50 fee for every 30 minutes past 10AM). DO NOT leave any food items in your vehicle or outside. Always LOCK your car doors and the entrance door to the cabin to deter any bears from having a goldilocks moment. Bears CAN open car doors and doors into the cabin if not locked. Refunds are not provided for inclement weather and/or occurrences outside of our control (internet/cable outage, hot tub issue, etc.). Trip insurance is highly encouraged. GETTING THERE: Nestled in Chalet Village, the house requires navigation of mountain roads, some of which can be narrow, winding and/or steep at times. While all roads are paved, there are some steep inclines at times (nothing giving it some gas and not letting off won't handle). AWD and/or 4WD may be required in winter months in order to access the house. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was so close to all the major attractions yet you felt like you were on top of your own mountain in the cabin. The kids loved the entertainment options on the first floor. While mom and dad enjoyed a movie on the main floor. Kitchen had everything you needed to make a home cooked meal (except a pizza cutter) and the app they provided was very informative. Wasn’t too big or too small. Not far from downtown Gatlinburg maybe 8 mins, then can take I would say back way to parkway from cabin to pigeon forge skipping all traffic in Gatlinburg. Will stay here again. To top it off my wife has always wanted to see bears in the wild and this was maybe our 6th trip to the mountains, 3rd to Gatlinburg atea and was planning trip to Cades Cove. Didn’t have to go to Cades Cove cause there was a group of bears roaming the neighborhood. Seen them 3 days of the 4 we stayed. Watched them from windows and front door and seen them climbing trees on the ride out to town. 0 complaints ##### Travis H. We were looking for a home close to hiking/nature and downtown/fun activities and this home was a great location to get to both. The bedrooms were comfortable, showers hot with great pressure, hot tub clean and easy to use, barrel arcade was fun, kitchen stocked with all the important gear, etc. I only wish the property off the deck of the cabin had not been clear cut. The mountain views are beautiful, but the trees and habitat should be protected in such a valuable environment. We loved venturing out to Ski Mtn Pizza and Challet Village Market for food and basics. We are flatlanders, so it took a day to get comfortable on the narrow, steep mountain roads, but slow and steady and we did fine. Bear Tracts Vacation Cabin managers were great! This was our first experience staying in a cabin uphill and all things were in place (arranged neatly). Every room is equipped with TV with smart apps and has many things for family entertainment including the hot tub. However, few things should have been taken care of. The kitchen (near the sink and range) has a weird smell/odor. Floor could have been kept clean. Bathrooms could have been placed with a fragrance or some odor eliminating or absorbing wicks. There was a characteristic smell from the bathrooms. Other than these minor issues, we had a nice time in the cabin rental. ##### Ravi S. View was amazing and the cabin was very comfortable and gave enough separate spaces for everyone to be able to settle in at night and relax! Loved having 2 balconies for morning coffee and breakfast.
