Rewrote it, but flagging four things I changed that conflict with decisions already locked in — worth knowing before you paste this live:
1. **"Summit" and "Ober Mountain" appear repeatedly** — same conflict as the title. Summit framing was dropped for being saturated; naming Ober Mountain risks affiliation/trademark issues on OTAs. I swapped to elevation + spa language. 2. **Hot tub is described as "on the deck / under the stars"** — but it's actually on the screened porch (confirmed in your hot-tub blog post). Screened is a selling point (usable in rain, no bugs, no exposure) — I put it back. 3. **No mention of the 15% direct-booking discount** — this is your top strategic priority and it's absent from the whole description. Added a line. 4. **"TRANSPARENT PRICING" header sits over a location/distance section**, not pricing — looks like a leftover mislabel. Retitled to match content.
Also added bathroom count (4) and electric fireplaces — currently missing, and both are real differentiators for a "sleeps 9" search.

**Wake up above the clouds.**
Classy Bear Cabin sits at roughly 3,000 feet in Chalet Village with unobstructed views of the Smoky Mountain ridgelines—one of the few Gatlinburg cabins where you can watch the sunrise from bed. Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck or soaking in the screened hot tub porch after dark, the view never gets old.
This isn't your typical mountain rental. We completed a full renovation in 2026: a modern kitchen with a reclaimed wood herringbone backsplash, quartz countertops, and everything you need to cook for the whole group, plus a spa bathroom suite with a chromotherapy whirlpool tub—guests consistently tell us it's the highlight after a day of hiking.
**PERFECT FOR FAMILIES & GROUPS** Designed with families in mind: → 3 private king suites, each with a private bath and electric fireplace → Loft suite with full bunk bed + trundle—perfect for kids or extra guests → Sleeps 6 adults + 3 children comfortably → 4 bathrooms total—no morning bottleneck → Arcade game with 60+ titles and board games for rainy days → Family-friendly throughout
**EVERYTHING YOU NEED** → Private hot tub on the screened porch with mountain views → Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances → BBQ grill on the balcony → High-speed WiFi throughout → Smart TVs in every room → Washer and dryer → Free parking for 2 vehicles
**PET-FRIENDLY** Up to 2 dogs welcome with a $125 pet fee per stay. We love your furry family.
**LOCATION** Elevated peace and quiet with easy access to everything: → 2 miles to downtown Gatlinburg (restaurants, shops, attractions) → 5 minutes to Ober Mountain (skiing, alpine coaster, ice skating) → 10 minutes to Great Smoky Mountains National Park → 12 miles to Dollywood
Close enough to explore, far enough to escape the crowds.
**SUMMER BONUS: POOL ACCESS** From Memorial Day through Labor Day, enjoy access to the Chalet Village Owners Club pools. The Upper Alpine clubhouse is less than a mile away. Pool pass provided at check-in.
**GETTING HERE** The cabin is reached via a paved, well-maintained mountain road with scenic switchbacks. Most vehicles handle it easily in good weather; in winter, we recommend 4WD or AWD for peace of mind.
Located in Chalet Village, a neighbourhood in Gatlinburg, this cabin is near theme parks and in the mountains. What a beautiful, well appointed cabin!! I wish we could’ve stayed longer. We had everything we needed and our pup was super comfortable too. Thank you for an amazing stay; we’d love to return!!
This beautiful cabin looked exactly as it did online and included all of the amenities we needed to make our first time trip to TN and my birthday amazing. Neighbors and the bears were super friendly. We hope to visit again!!!
The drive to the Classy Bear Cabin was a winding curving treacherous climb up the mountain...with no warning during the rental process. The property itself was nice and the view was tremendous.
Highest point for spectacular mountain views. Clean property amazing beds andany amenities. The hot tub was huge and hot! It's perfect. No issues whatsoever.
This property was perfect for my family of 10 with regard to sleeping arrangements, pots/pans, dishes, glasses and utensils to prepare meals, inside dining area as well as bbq and hot tub for outdoor fun. It was very comfortable, fully stocked with most any need for adults as well as children and infants. It even had electronic games for the kids to play. My family and I were very comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin and location!!
Jakki has been super communicative and great. Unfortunately, we didn’t make our stay due to hurricane Helene, but she was more than understanding and willing to reschedule so we can feel safe. Can’t wait to stay on our rescheduled dates as I know it will be great!
We stayed at the cabin for a family vacation. Plenty of room and perfect location with gorgeous views. What I usually love about VRBO listings is truly feeling like a welcome guest. There weren’t enough linens and the amenities needed freshening up- mildewed shower curtains, stained sofa, lots of dust and bugs in window sills. Overall, fine for our night’s stay, and we did get to see a few bears on the property! The kids loved that!
Beautiful cabin, great views. We would stay again. We spoke to the host about several small issues that we were told would be taken care of but never were, and were never asked about again.
Check in was easy. Comfortable beds. Saw lots of bears. No toiletries. No dishwasher soap or hand soap.Property is not well maintained. Would not stay there again.
The chalet was unbelievably gorgeous. Jakki was such a terrific host🤗 She always answered promptly and willingly to please. The best person I have never met.
I must say the roads to the chalet were treacherous 😳… and I am not saying that lightly.
If you want to see bear, this is the place. We saw them everyday. Very very close at times.
The Mountain View was amazing. It was an outstanding vacation. Thank Jami💕
There were 9 of us. My husband and I, our son and his wife and our 5 grandchildren. Our son who could not come. But we brought his 2 teenagers. So a total of 5 grandchildren. The cabin was clean and very roomy. Each person had a bed which made it so nice. We had bears everywhere. On our trip we saw maybe more, but we know 40 bears. You walk in and den, kitchen and 1/2 bath. Go down stairs and two kind suites. And upstairs was a loft with bunk beds and king bed and double bed, full bathroom. The cabin was great and we will come back.
everything of the interior was perfect could use some updating on the exterior. especially the downstairs screen area enjoyed the view and the neighborhood bears
