Everything was wonderful. The home had everything I needed, the views were amazing from the back deck, the pool and hot tub were just what I needed after a day of touring Gatlinburg. The bed was very comfortable, except the pillow, but that is a personal preference. Nice, relaxing stay and met a lot of very nice people.

Beautiful Home Away

This was a wonderful couple of days and we felt right at home in this cozy condo. It was as listed and we so appreciated the detailed information as they included directions, grocery store options, access info, and tidbits about the HOA, it is located on the less busy side of the Smokey National Park which was a pleasant surprise and we enjoyed just sitting on the deck to observe the view. We would definitely like to stay here again if we are in the area in the future.

Truly lovely little condo!

The condo was so cute and typically -Gatlinburg! The bear decor was so nice and kitschy, and we saw 2 bear cubs with their momma at the bottom of Deer Ridge when we first turned in upon arrival, so the scene was set! The views were AMAZING and the bed was really comfy. The only complaint is there wasn't a skillet in the condo. But we will definitely be returning!

We’ve stayed at various condos at Deer Ridge over the years, and always have had a very enjoyable experience. The pool is always very clean, there’s on site coin laundry available. My one complaint regarding this specific condo is the lack of cooking utensils. It didn’t have a simple frying pan or spatula to cook eggs or pancakes or anything like that. Beyond that, the condo was very clean and well kept.

Good for what we needed

Great view!! We really just needed a place to shower and sleep each night and spent our whole days hiking, so it was perfect for what we needed. Nothing glamorous, definitely an older condo (like pictured so no surprises there), but was cozy and the view from the balcony was awesome! There was some water damage in the ceiling in the bathroom that looks like it may have a little mold which is more just a heads up to the owner. Good stay for a long weekend! Pretty easy drive to downtown or a couple good trailheads.

This property is in a great location for its gorgeous view of the colorful fall mountains. I couldn't be more satisfied with the owners' quick responses to my questions. The space is perfect for 2 people but needs a little TLC. I don’t like to complain on reviews but the fridge only got slightly cool and freezer does not work - any frozen food we had defrosted overnight. It could also use a better cleaning including the carpet.

What an amazing place. The view in pictures does not begin to prepare you. Waking up to coffee on the balcony and ending the night watching the sun disappear with a nice beverage was a blessing. Ed was organized and we received instructions in plenty of time to prepare. The instructions for the address and room entry could not have been more clear to us. We didn’t need anything when we arrived. There was plenty of space in the kitchen, The quarters were cozy and comfortable. It was nice to be away from the city and have a quiet relaxing place to swim, hot tub, and enjoy the sauna. We will be back, if we are near Gatlinburg again!! Thank you Ed. Ps there was a nice TV package available for a rainy day.

Good enough

The check in process is different than what VRBO says. And the key pad directions were not right had to call to get help getting in. The cleanliness was good except for the bathroom there was some mold in the left ceiling corner. The toilet made a weird loud noise when flushed. And lastly the bed was uncomfortable and made a lot of creaking noises every time you move and needs to be replaced. But the view was great of the mountains on the balcony.

Literally Best Stay I’ve Ever Had

Our host, Ed, was plenty more than helpful, and accommodated me and my now wife plentiful during our wedding weekend stay!
