Guest Access: Entire Condo The Neighborhood: This gorgeous condo is only 3.6 miles from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, TN! It features plenty of amenities! The condo complex offers indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a game room, gas grills, seasonal firewood, and washer/dryer facilities (pay). Getting Around: We always recommend 4x4 wheel drive for any condo in The Great Smoky Mountains to be extra safe. Paved roads all the way up and paved parking, too. Other Things to Note: • Must be 21 or older to book this condo. • This condo sleeps 4 guests maximum. • The fireplace is wood-burning—please bring your own firewood. • Coffee maker is a Keurig—please bring your own coffee/K-Cups. • 4x4 drive is recommended for travel in the Smoky Mountains. While paved roads lead all the way to the complex, conditions can change quickly in inclement weather. • The hot tub and pools are maintained by the HOA. They may occasionally be closed for maintenance without notice. • The outdoor pool usually opens around Memorial Day and closes near the end of August (dates controlled by the HOA and subject to change). • The indoor pool and hot tub are open year-round (subject to HOA maintenance schedules). • Condo includes high-speed WiFi and a smart TV with cable and Netflix access (no login required for Netflix). • Washer/dryer and game room are located in the main clubhouse and operate on a pay-per-use basis. • Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day. • Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided. • Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method. • Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors. • We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos. It’s more for couples than a family although my family of 4 managed. The positives- check in wa super easy, communication was excellent, clean and decor was nice. The view was amazing. Negatives- the upstairs neighbors or guests were so noisy. We could hear everything. It made it hard to sleep. The last night they must have checked out bc we could finally sleep in silence. Regardless, we still had a great time at this location. We traveled a lot while we were there and basically needed a place to sleep and get ready at, but wanted the great view of the mountains. Nice place for just a couple people. It was nice and intimate for just me and my husband. I wouldn’t recommend for more than two.The host responded almost immediately when we wanted to change our door pin.The condo is right in the front door for easier loading and unloading but is down some steps. Be careful if staying during the winter months, the parking lot and stairs had snow and ice on them. It doesn’t have much storage, it has a small closet but it’s filled with paint cans, cleaning supplies, etc. Both beds are uncomfortable, feels like metal bars in your back. The blankets felt like they hadn’t been washed so I’m glad we brought our own. The queen bed frame collapses if you sit on the edge. We had to disassemble the bed to fix it. It wasn’t secured by the right hardware. The frame is very unsturdy and creaks a lot. Above the shower head was black mold so if you’re sensitive, I’d choose a different place.The view is amazing! I loved looking out to see the sunset or sunrise. Having a small balcony was nice! I wish I could post all the pictures I took. Overall, the place has its ups and downs. ##### Hannah C. We enjoyed our time in this condo! The condo was very clean, cute, and cozy, and the views of the mountains were great! The deck was a very nice feature of this property as well. We were pleased and impressed with the responsiveness of the owner to any questions we had, and they sent very thorough emails that clearly explained the check-in and check-out procedure. Check-out was also very simple, and we were only required to tie up our trash, turn the thermostat up, and place our towels and washrags in the bathroom. There are several steps you have to go up and down to get to this first-floor unit, so that might be a consideration to keep in mind. And, since it is a first floor unit, there is some upstairs noise at times. You will see bears on this property, so don't leave any food in your car while staying here (we saw one bear in a truck bed tearing into bags of trash). The property is a bit off the beaten path, but all said, the incredible "mountain front" view and the cute condo interior make it a great place to stay! The place was spotless, the view is absolutely breathtaking, so beautiful and peaceful ! The first night was a little rough as the air conditioning went out, with two kiddos it was a rough night. It was fixed the next day around 10am, we feel as though we should of been atleast refunded for the first night. The place is on the first floor the next two days the people above us were up until 3-4am with music noise and lots of stomping. I rated a 3 because of this and because of the lack of sleep we got the entire trip, made it hard to enjoy vacation. If noise doesn’t bother you, you will be just fine ! The pool was nice, grills were nice & over all the apartment itself was great, small but beautifully decorated & again the view honestly made up for the lack of sleep. ##### Allison R.
