Roads: The road is paved all the way from the main road to the cabin. Although snow is rare, in the winter, 4WD or AWD may be necessary. Cell service may be spotty in the mountains, we highly recommend you download the maps of the area for offline use prior to travel, just in case service is lost. Hot Tub: The hot tub is for guests 18 and over only. Alcohol is not allowed in or near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Do not dive headfirst into the hot tub. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! Our housekeeper drains, cleans and refills the hot tub before your stay; therefore, it may not be warm when you arrive. Trash: Please do not dump liquids into trash bags. Place all trash into trash bags and secure them in the bearproof trash containers next to the driveway. We do not have regularly scheduled trash pick-ups. If needed, there is a trash drop-off convenience center at Ski Mountain Road & Heiden Rd. Critters: The Cabin is treated monthly for pests, however this cabin is in the wilderness, and with that comes bugs and other wild animals, including bears and snakes. Please practice bear safety (guidelines will be posted on the refrigerator). Remember to keep your doors locked at all times, throw trash in the bear-proof containers, If you see a bear DO NOT feed or try to approach the bear, and don't leave any food outdoors, including on the grill or in your car. Pets: Pet Fee: $60 for 1 dog or $100 for 2 Dogs. No other pets are allowed unless previously approved. Guests bringing dogs agree to the following rules 1\. No dogs on any furniture 2\. Dogs must be crate-trained and potty-trained 3\. Dogs MUST be crated when/if left alone 4\. Guest will be responsible for cleaning up all pet waste. If pet waste is left inside or outside the cabin the Guest agrees to pay additional cleaning fees as determined by the house cleaning team. 5\. Any damage done by the guest’s pet will be billed to and paid for by the Guest. Fire: Absolutely no fires! Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages Check In/Out: Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. We do not offer early check-in nor late check-out. We do not allow check-ins nor check-outs on holidays. We provide a starter pack consisting of dishwasher tablets, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. The three rooms with king beds are incredibly spacious. The pool table and arcade are an added bonus. If you’re looking for a secluded and quiet house, this one is for you. Great cabin on the mountain and a wonderful host! The cabin is on the mountain between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which is a perfect location. All the amenities that we needed for our entire family of 11 with 3 crate trained dogs. Highly recommend anyone traveling to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area to stay at this awesome cabin! ##### George F. The property was clean and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the onsite games (pool, foosball, video games). The association pools require driving to use and are not in walking distance. The roads to the cabin were all paved, but being our first time in the Smokies, we were caught off guard by the number of sharp turns, no shoulder etc. ##### Amber H. We had such an amazing time. You are right in the middle of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin is in the middle of the woods which allows for a peaceful get away from all the hustle and bustle. We got food delivered to the door our last night which was great. We got to see bears every day of our trip if not at the cabin they were on the ride up and down the mountain. Thank you again Kent for everything our family from the littles to us and even the dogs had the trip of our lives and we have been coming to Gatlinburg for 7 years you are the best! ##### Shannon S. The property contact was very responsive. We had no problems. The keyless entry was convenient. Short drives to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The house has all the necessities of home and plenty of space to spread out. We ran into some vehicle issues, which kept us at the house for two days until the truck was fixed but with all the amenities, games, internet, Roku TV, grill, fully stocked kitchen, we were able to make the best of an otherwise lousy situation. Our host was very responsive, answering questions in a timely manner and as a add on to other reviews, the black bears are around and looking for easy food, evident from the paw prints all over my truck. ##### Matt W. My sister/brother in law and nephew also stayed (19). We had more than enough room and had such an awesome time. The cabin came with everything we needed for our 5 day stay! The ride up isn’t bad at all and we were only 9 minutes from the Gatlinburg strip. Kent is an awesome property owner and the communication was top tier. Wow! This cabin was perfect for our family of 8\. There was plenty of cozy space to spread out and relax. The fireplace worked great and the game room made for some friendly family competition. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the items that we needed for preparing, serving, and enjoying meals. The hot tub was fabulous and it was a welcome experience after a day of hiking in the mountains. The decks gave us the ability to take in the beauty around us without even leaving the cabin. All beds were super comfy and there were plenty of towels.Getting to the cabin was easy. With our adult kids joining us, we had four cars which fit well into the driveway. The cabin felt very private and we liked feeling tucked into the back of the "neighborhood".Excellent choice for us. We will be back! ##### Stephanie H. The game room area on the main floor was perfect for kids to hang out (video games are a great touch!) while adults could hang out upstairs. We didn’t need it but they even have a high chair for traveling with little ones. When we arrived the hot tub had just been cleaned and freshly filled and was nice and hot by the evening. Very close to the Gatlinburg strip and an easy drive into Pigeon Forge. We had a bit of a problem signing into the TV but was super impressed with our host going way over and above getting us signed in- he even had to call customer support for Roku and was in constant contact until we got it figured out. While we are use to softer beds and these were more firm, there were no complaints! The children and the husbands enjoyed the variety of games. All the tvs had streaming options. Kent, the host, was incredible. We had a few adjustments after booking. Kent replied and was extremely accommodating. The cabin had anything needed. Although we brought our own, the cabin had a kennel, pack and play, and a baby highchair. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tubs and the hot tub. The community was incredible. No one bothered us, i just wished we had better reception heading into the cabin, but that was nothing that they could have done. Once again this was a truly incredible host and cabin. ##### J M. We had 5 adults and 2 dogs so the roominess and number of bedrooms was just what we were looking for. The quiet location tucked in the woods was perfect for walking the dogs with plenty of room. It was clean and had all the amenities as listed- WiFi worked great too. Kent was very responsive to our inquiries and questions.
