Bears do visit the cabin on a regular basis. There is an active bear visit from our driveway! Please supervise children outside, keep car doors locked and cabin doors shut at all times. Do not leave food in your car or outside. All trash must be placed in the bear bins. Because we are in the woods, you will see bugs. Occasionally, a few make their way inside.

This beautiful cabin was in a perfect location close to downtown Gatlinburg. The house had everything we needed. The host communicated all information needed before we arrived so we didn’t have any questions.
Are normal rental was not available and this cabin was a great fill in. Only down fall is having to take the trash down the steep driveway to place in the bins. Could not use the jacuzzi do to it being dirty and none of the jets working. But the cabin was clean and comfortable.
Would defiantly recommend staying here. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and was even nice enough to refund us for the first night due to a power outage in the area which was due to some bad weather that hit the day of our arrival.
Cabin was very clean and well stocked with linens and cook ware.
Cabin has a beautiful view and is near to Gatlinburg and directly behind Anakeesta.
We did have a few bear friends come visit us but they where not aggressive and when you would tell them to get they would leave very very slowly.
Our overall stay was enjoyable and the property owner was easy to deal with.
Would recommend this cabin
It is a fantastic location. You have privacy but still close enough to any other destination when you need to travel. The cabin amenities (pool table and hot tub) were great amenities with everything needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Ownership was very responsive and was very timely with any inquiry or request. They went above and beyond the "call of duty" to get a "prized" stuff animal back to my granddaughter that was left behind. Who does that?? I would highly recommend this cabin for any activity that you might have in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area regardless of the season.
An excellent mountain cabin to snuggle up with your family in! Very warm and welcoming and the hot tub and pool table make for an even better experience.
The cabin was very welcoming, homey, and well-equipped! We enjoyed the billiards and entertainment, and especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after long hikes in the mountains! The location was great since the cabin is nestled in the mountains, yet still close to downtown Gatlinburg. Just be sure and bring a truck or SUV since Loop Road and the cabin driveway are very steep. Overall great experience and we would stay here again!
This was very average. We were disappointed in the quality of some of the accommodations. It was very basic. Given the beauty of the place and the price point, small things like bed pillows and leaky faucets were surprisingly unattended to. Locations was beautiful. Recommend driving up in daylight.
My husband and 3 children ages 5,12 and 15 had a wonderful week spent here. It was close to everything and beautiful location. We even had some bears to walk right by the deck. Thank you!!
First what was great! The location was perfect. The cabin is the mountains not far from the city. The cabin was amazing. Jacuzzi was on when we got there and clean. The beds were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool table and games. The Christmas tree made it feel homie. I give it a 3 because the towels were all dirty. They were hanged with the dirty side folded inward. Since we needed to use them we just washed them ourselves forgetting to take a picture of them. The sofabed was really dirty. Had lots of hairs so we ended up not being able to use it.
This is a very nice cabin in the woods. The owners were extremely accommodating and hospitable, and their home is very well appointed with all the necessities and lots of little extras. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the beds are quite comfortable. The cabin is lovely and secluded.. The location was perfect for us as we were away from the crowds in Gatlinburg but close to Roaring Forks (which we love) and still close enough to Gatlinburg to be there within about 10 minutes. We very much enjoyed our stay including the adventurous drive up to the cabin! Thank you Mary Jo!
We went for a weekend getaway to celebrate our oldest daughters 7th birthday. We all had the best time. We actually got snowed in on the first day which turned out to be a great time. The kids spent lots of time in the hot tub while it snowed. It warmed up the next day and we took a short drive to hike Porter Creek Trail. It was Amazing!!! The owner was so attentive and had tons of great recommendations and information. We would highly recommend this cabin!
Overall very happy, owner very willing to help with anything that came up… would like a better description about roads leading to cabin. Very narrow, switchback , hilly roads.. very tricky for bringing a trailer. Our driver drives tractor trailer for a living or we would not have made it up there… we managed but it was difficult… motorcycles were sketchy as well but don’t let this deter you… it is just an added caution…
There were roaches in bathroom first floor. Found more in dishwasher. Jets in the hot tub were not very strong. Water was leaking from house to hot tub so we turned water off. Had hard time putting cover back on. I thought we had a grill but no gas or charcoal. The other things were great all in all a great time! View was great too.

The host was terrific, very easy to contact and quick response.
The property was in a nice location, very quite. Also seen the bears...which was fantastic!!! The cabin was big enough and had all necessary items, plus a few extra..coffee pods were a great touch (thank you)! Was disappointed about the jets of the hot tub..not strong jets at all and needed to be cleaned out better then it was. The picture's need to be updated on the website. The cabin needs Extra TLC with cleaning. Spoke to the host about a bug issue in the kitchen and bathroom downstairs, she assured me that an exterminator had came already, but would be checked again. If peace and quite is what you want, THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO BE!! Thank you again to the host, very friendly and quick to respond to your needs.
Let me start with overall our experience was great! The cabin was decorated so cute and comfy and we loved being secluded. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. The property was a good size for 4 adults.
Now to the con’s-
The cabin had a smell. It had a very strong musky old basement smell that hit hard when you first walk in.
The cleanliness was not very good- dirty sink, something on the side of one of the toilets, spiderwebs above the king bedroom in the upstairs bedroom. We noticed lots of dirt and dust on the baseboards- cabin probably needed a good deep clean.
The shower upstairs is extremely small- for someone who is larger it may be hard to access.
The hot tub jets worked in some spots but not all. It was as if the tub was stuck in a low setting mode no matter if you tried to Turn the jets or the button to hi.
None of these things kept us from having a blast and enjoying the mountains- we even saw Bears on the road to the cabin multiple times!

Loved this cabin. It was exactly as pictured and had everything needed. I did have a few easy things that came up and the owner was very responsive. Hot tub was nice and hot, which I enjoyed (sometimes they are just warm). Location was great - mountains but we didn't need to deal with the Parkway traffic. Will definitely stay here again!
