Beautiful setting, we had 3 course menu and the great food. The breakfast was really unique with local products and homemade bread. Splendid service.

This is a suburb hotel, extremely well run with stunning food with nature all around you. I stay in lots of hotels all across the world and this one is something really special. It was my second visit and I’ll certainly be back again. Keep up the amazing work!

Great hotel, lovely service

What a find, great setting close to Sandviken. Next to a pond and a weir by the side to power the old mill. The breakfast was the best I have ever had.

Very well laid-out, spacious apartment, in great condition, with all mod cons. Excellent proactive comms from hotel team. Stayed one night in winter but would happily come back, for longer. Thoroughly recommended.

very quiet

We booked the place at the last minute. It is a hidden gem, super clean and super value. It is a family studio, spacious and very clean.

A basic but nice little hotel, suited me perfectly for 1 night, about a 10 minute walk from the railway station and town centre. Would recommend.

No reception desk, so arriving is impersonal (and needed a phone call to be texted entry details), but the property once inside is snug, nicely decorated and the room I stayed in was well appointed. I had a view over the front, facing the station, which was noisy in the early (Friday) evening but quietened down at a respectable time. I found the place charming. Loos and showers are communal but there are plenty. Breakfast was delicious - the bread in particular was some of the best I've ever...

Good breakfast and very helpful staff
