"As odd as this might sound, I was sold on the pillows. I have a hard time sleeping and have gone through so many pillows on my journey to better sleep. I slept so comfortably and considered stealing a pillow or two. I didn’t but will take one if they’d like to send me a couple! "

"We loved the location as it was close to everything major in SD. Place was old, but well maintained as it had a lot of cool features that hotels today do not have. Staff was outstanding and all seemed to be proud of what they do. We were very happy while we were there for 8 days and would highly recommend this place. I would have loved to see a gym or workout room there, that was the only thing that I missed "

"We had a trip and the opportunity to travel a day early, so made a last minute reservation. We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this hotel was! Our room was beautiful and spacious, the property is lovely and in a great location, easy to get to. Check in was a breeze. We are at the 5 o lock somewhere bar and downstairs and food and drinks were great! Definitely recommend!"

"The hotel was great- clean- in walking distance to Petco Park, the Midway, and all of the Gaslamp restaurants and shops. The valet staff was quick and polite- and the process was so easy when we needed our car. The hotel staff were helpful and kind- and I got texts daily to check in on our stay. They even helped with restaurant recommendations! If I ever get to visit San Diego again- I will def stay here! "
