The penthouse, renovated in 2010, offers all comfort, the kitchen and bathroom equipments are full as you can see it on the pictures. 2 south and north facing terraces, each one of 15 sqm, equipped with electric blinds, tables, chairs, hammocks, invite to enjoy delicious meals under the sun. By the pedestrian dyke you walk along the coast towards to the banana plantations, or to the quaint village where you will find restaurants, shops, etc. 300 m away you will find a supermarket and a bus stop. The historic village of Garachico is 3 miles away. Our penthouse has a garage in the building (automatic gate) and allows you to stock sports items (surf board, fishing equipment, bikes, etc.). Innerhalb der ersten Woche erkundeten wir das Umland von La Caleta,welches man als ruhig, mit schönen Landschaften und beschaulichen Örtchen beschreiben kann. Wir fühlten uns in der hellen, sehr sauberen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung mit 2 Terrassen (1x Süd / 1x Nord) sehr wohl. Während unserem Urlaub kamen auch die vom Vermieter bereitgestellten Mountainbikes zum Einsatz, mit denen wir wunderschöne Fahrradtouren entlang der Küste und Örtchen machen konnten. In der Küche, soweit man sie überhaupt nutzen möchte, fehlt es an nichts. Es gibt schönes Geschirr und schöne Gläser. Ein kleiner Vorrat an Gewürzen, Öl, Essig usw. ist vorhanden. Und wichtig dabei, die Vorräte sind gepflegt, man traut sich auch, die angebrochenen Sachen zu benutzen. Von den beiden gegenüberliegenden Balkonen, einer nach Süd-Ost, der andere zum Strand nach Nord-West nutz man nur denjenigen zum Strand hin. Denn er bietet ohne Einschränkung eine Aussicht, die für einen Werbeprospekt taugt. Dass alles sauber war versteht sich hier von selbst. Besonders zu erwähnen ist Pablo, der Vermieter. Man merkt an allem, dass es ihm wichtig ist, dass sich seine Gäste in seinem Apartment wohlfühlen. Eine nicht hoch genug zu bewertende Eigenschaft. Er stellt auch zwei Fahrräder zur Verfügung, samt Helmen, Luftpumpe, Flickzeug usw., Taucherbrillen und Schwimmflossen. Alles in allem kann das Apartment uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden. Haben uns lange nicht mehr so wohl gefühlt in einem Ferienapartment. Was man wissen muss, Garachico liegt im Nordwesten der Insel, wo es auch mal regnen kann. Het penthouse is heel goed geëquipeerd (waterkoker, broodrooster, blender ...) en alles was heel proper en verzorgd. Je kan er fijn gaan wandelen en onderweg kom je regelmatig een bar tegen, waar je aan Spaanse prijzen een lekkere cafe cortado kan drinken. De rust en het uitzicht maakte dit voor ons een topverblijf! Kaum Touristen, wenn einem danach ist, kann man nach Garachico oder Icod de los Vinos fahren. Mit Mietwagen sehr komfortabel, es gibt aber auch eine Busverbindung. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war ganz einfach, ebenso der Check-In. Meine Frau und ich waren zum ersten Mal auf Teneriffa und haben es genossen! Pablo hat uns als Gastgeber herzlich und fröhlich empfangen und uns viele gute Tipps gegeben. Die Ferienwohnung ist super! Es ist alles vorhanden, was es für einen gemütlichen und aktiven Urlaub braucht: Strandtücher, Sonnenschirme, Fahrräder, ein Tischgrill und vieles mehr. Es war sauber, hell und liebevoll eingerichtet! Sitzt man auf dem Balkon, kann man auf das Meer schauen, die Sonne geniessen und es sich gut gehen lassen. Regelmatig zie je surfers bezig. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en enthousiast en geeft tips over wat je allemaal kan doen en waar je goed kan eten. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Bij aankomst lag er fruit klaar, chocola en waterflesjes. Je kan prima zelf koken als je wilt, maar uiteraard ook lekker uit eten gaan. Echt een aanrader als je van rust houd. Als het even wat minder weer is rij je naar een ander deel van het eiland en je zit weer in de zon. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten. Tip: een auto is wel handig en je kan deze parkeren in de garage onder het appartementen complex. ##### Mariska A. Alles vorhanden, was man brauchen könnte, sogar zwei Fahrräder oder z.B. auch kleine Surfboards. Der Ort selbst ist klein und ruhig, es gibt einen Supermarkt und ein paar Restaurants in Laufweite. Die Terrasse zum Meer ist das absolute Highlight, den Fernseher haben wir gar nicht gebraucht. Mit einem Mietwagen ist man flexibel und kann in Tagestouren die ganze Insel erkunden, ohne Mietwagen ist die Wohnung schlecht zu erreichen. Tiefgarage mit eigenem Stellplatz ist vorhanden, was einem die mühevolle Parkplatzsuche erspart. Wir hatten eine tolle erholsame Woche hier und können die FeWo empfehlen. ##### Svenja W. Nous avons apprécié la double vue en terrasse, côté séjour sur l'océan et le clocher du village, côté chambre sur les montagnes, la disponibilité et gentillesse de Pablo (le propriétaire parlant parfaitement Français), ces indications de visites ou de restaurants. Après de superbes randonnées aux paysages variées (du désert ou forêts presque tropicales) , le fait de pouvoir se baigner au pied de l'immeuble est un vrai luxe. Wer Ruhe sucht, wem der Süden zu überlaufen, zu hektisch, zu 'verbaut' ist, wer landschaftlich den Norden bevorzugt - der ist hier richtig. Traumhafte Lage am kleinen, lokalen Kiesstrand mit herrlichem Meeresblick. Wir waren drei Wochen hier und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Das nette Appartement für zwei Personen im obersten, dritten Stockwerk des modernen Gebäudes ist mit wirklich ALLEM ausgestattet - vom Fahrrad bis zum Staubsauger, vom Bügeleisen bis zu Strandmatten und Schnorchelequipment, massenhaft Büchern (dt., engl.) und Reiseführern, TV, WLAN, Bettwäsche- und Bade- bzw. Handtuchwechsel wöchentlich (super nette Vermieter!), die Küche gut gefüllt mit dem Wichtigsten (Essig, Öl, Gewürze, Spül- und Reinigungsmittel etc.). Ein Supermarkt liegt um die Ecke (zu Fuß 5 min), im Dorf einige Lokale, ansonsten ist ein Leihwagen nicht die schlechteste Wahl (wir hatten einen), obwohl es natürlich auch gute Verbindungen mit dem Bus gibt. Zum Airport im Süden benötigt man mit dem Auto ca. 1h, nach Puerto de la Cruz ca. 25 min. Wir sind weit und viel gereist, aber hatten selten so eine gute Wahl mit der Ferienunterkunft getroffen wie heuer im Juli / August 2017\. Wir kommen sehr gerne mal wieder! Aber im ernst, es war ein unbeschreiblich toller Urlaub, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, bekamen eine kurze "Einweisung/Führung" in das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Penthouse und die Insel. Wertvolle Tipps wo man gut Essen kann, wo man wann am besten Baden kann etc. Danke Pablo! La Caleta de Intérian ist ein nettes kleines Dorf, weit abseits vom Massentourismus, hier kann man urlauben und vor allem findet man hier Entspannung pur. Das Penthouse, wie auf den Fotos ersichtlich, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und voll ausgestattet. Wir nutzten auch die beiden vorhandenen Balkone, aber vor allem der mit dem Meeresrauschen hatte es uns angetan, hier möchte man bleiben und der Brandung lauschen... Die Anlage drumherum ist sehr schön angelegt und lädt ein zum Verweilen unter Palmen und neben Kakteen, und dann ab über den Kiesstrand ins Wasser, einfach toll. Der Strand ist von der "Lifeguard" bewacht und so fühlt man sich auch hier wohl. Für uns ein toller Ausgangspunkt für unsere insg. fast 1100 km, die wir mit dem Mietwagen zurückgelegt haben. Übrigens ein kleiner Hinweis, das kleine Restaurant "Casa Floro" war unser Geheimtipp, hier fanden wir fast immer unseren Tagesabschluss mit einem leckeren Café con lecche und/oder leckerem Bierchen, auch lecker gegessen haben wir dort, obwohl keine Speisekarte vorhanden ist, aber wir konnten uns stets irgendwie verständigen. Zum Fest des hl. Johannes (San Juan) wurde der Strand mit kl. und großen Feuern "beleuchtet" und dann das tolle Feuerwerk, tja hier weiß man zu feiern, es war klasse. Nun denn, wir haben beschlossen wieder zu kommen, und dann nochmals diese Gastfreundschaft und Natur zu geniessen. Schon die Lage der Penthousanlage ist wunderschön.Top eingerichtet mit allem was in einen Haushalt gehört ! Von Surfbrett über Fahrräder bis zur Nähnadel ist alles in gepflegtem Zustand vorhanden. Die Begrüßung von Pablo, dem Sohn der Vermieterin war sehr herzlich. Als ob wir uns schon Jahre kannten. La Caleta de Interial - hier liegt das sehr gepflegte Penthous - , ist eher ein ruhiger Ort. Hier macht man Urlaub zum entspannen ! Einige kleine und gute Lokale und Geschäfte im Ort runden das Bild ab.Das Wasser hatte Anfang Juni schon ca.19 Grad. Also rein in den Atlantik. Der liegt ja direkt vor der Tür. Zwar ein Kieselstrand, aber sehr sauber und rundum gepflegte Anlagen mit Blumen,Blumen u.Blumen! Auch ist der Ort der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder mit dem Mietwagen in die Umgebung. Wir sind immer noch beeindruckt, obwohl uns der Alltag schon wieder eingeholt hat.
