The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order.
The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area .
Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough.
The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break.

"Gorgeous hotel in beautiful Yorkshire.
Our 3 day stay was wonderful. Large comfy rooms with huge bed. Modern bathroom with walk in shower. Garden was perfect to sit in, with a cosy summerhouse.
Breakfast was stunning - local produce, even down to the apple juice produced from their own orchard. Honey and jams all very local too, as were the ingredients of the cooked breakfasts.
Bar stocks local beers and spirits.
Andrew and Lucinda are perfect hosts.

"This were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative. "

"Stayed a couple of nights as a base to go to the coast with our 2 dachshunds, location was very quiet and perfect for relaxing, property was secure for our pets, a couple of miles in either direction was a village with pubs, shops etc. Coast was only 20 mins drive. Overall a very pleasant stay..."
