Super helpful staff and delicious food!

Posted 13-Oct-2016
Stayed for 4 nights with my parents and brother, and the staff were excellent in helping with any needs we had (even a bit of minor first aid after I got knocked over my a rogue cyclist). We had a car for day trips, but the hotel is easily accessible to Galway without one, and the food in the hotel was fantastic. Only complaints were that the temperature in the rooms was a bit all over the map and the bathroom fans didn't work, so whenever one of us showered the vapor sort of soaked everything. All in all though, would certainly recommend!

Nice tourist hotel

Posted 11-Oct-2016
Pros: 60 Euros cheaper than another hotel closer to the center.
Location: Just a short distance from the city center. The small cost for a taxi more than made up for the substantially higher hotel prices in the city itself.
Just outside of the center, which one could easily walk to if desired. Taxi to center was about 8 Euros

Great Location for Travels to Galway Area

Posted 07-Oct-2016
Pros: Location, friendly service
Location: We did not spend much time in Galway City, but this location was a short and easy 5-10 minute drive from the shops and restaurants.
Staff was friendly, and the hotel location was perfect for travel into and around Galway! They were polite in addressing a misunderstanding (my fault) regarding our bill from the bar. I was surprised at how quiet my room was, although it was close to the bar and there were a lot of people cheering on a local sport's team at the bar. I am one to hear every little noise but still got a great night sleep!

Nice enough

Posted 17-Sep-2016
Hotel is located on a bus route where getting to downtown takes about 15 minutes and runs often. Room was good but it's time to replace or clean the carpet. We opted for their Continental Breakfast one morning of our stay and it wasn't worth the €7.50 each we paid. The in house Bar/Lounge was good for an easy meal.

Etwas abgewohnt, aber in Summe echt OK

Posted 04-Sep-2016 on Hotels
