Fantastic lodging choice

Posted 23-Sep-2016
Apartment has lots of space, modern feel, terrace access straight from apartment and great view overlooking main area of Galway. Great location, steps away from shopping, restaurants, bars. The check-in process is a little quirky since you have to check-in at the hotel across the street, but no big deal. Good value.

Great space at a great price!

We stayed in the 2 BR apartment and it was wonderful!! The beds were comfortable, the space was amazing and the furniture was modern. This is a huge apartment right in the middle of Eyre Square with shopping and dining at your doorstep. There are outdoor spaces and great amenities in the apartment - washing machine, fireplace, full kitchen, etc. The only downside was the outdoor noise outside the guest room.

Heart of The City

Unexpected surprise. Step outside and you're in the middle of one the most exciting cities in the world. It was wonderful to be able to cook our own meals after six days of traveling through Ireland. Only negative was the filthy deck.

Cons: One small matter--shower w/ no place for personal items. No complementary room service so could not rate hotel staff--no problem if short stay.
Location: Galway is a fun walkable city with great food and music.

Fantastic location

Posted 26-Jun-2016 on Hotels
Only issue was frustration upon check in as there is not a front desk on location but rather on the next block in another hotel. No directions on how/where to check in/park. Once that problem was out of way the actual property and apartment were first class! Beautiful, well decorated and clean flat with every amenity you could ask for! Amazing view from terrace/balcony! Location is the best in Galway! Will definitely return!

Wear and tear

Posted 04-Jun-2016
Pros: The location and views
Cons: The maintenance, put right all the damaged areas, paint the walls where they have marks etc
Location: Located just off Eyre Sq and an easy walk to the city centre
These apartments were probably once the height of luxury and do have a great deal of potential. But have not been maintained to keep them at a luxury level and the wear and tear is starting to show. The once white leather sofas are a little grubby, the plinths on the kitchen cabinets were damaged, the fittings in the bathroom have broken at some stage leaving just the wall fixings, the TV in the bedroom has been removed from the wall, leaving sockets and replaced by random pictures of venice. Altogether just a little neglected. However the apartments are extremely well situated and the views over the city and bay are stunning (views of the top of nearby businesses not so stunning). Could be wonderful with some care and attention to detail.

An apartment, not a hotel.

Posted 01-Jun-2016
Pros: Roomy apartment with two city views; fully equipped including laundry machine; bright and light rooms with good ventilation.
Cons: Attention to maintenance could be better: kitchen chair legs were loose; wifi access point falling off wall (aging adhesive)
Location: In the heart of the city; location couldn't be better.
Finding a place to hover while checking in was a challenge. There is nothing posted at the address as to what to do upon arrival as a passkey is required to enter the apartment building. Phoned to discover that you check in at the nearby hotel (easy enough) and then are given the room key and magic fob that opens the street door as well as the parking garage gate. Once all of that is accomplished, the garage, the building, and the apartment are all very nice. Great location one short block from Eyre Square.
