Jamaica Beach Waterfront Home! w/ Paddleboards, Kayak, Pedal Boat, Fishing Gears

  • Welcome to our waterfront home in Jamaica Beach. Begin your retreat, and restore at this quiet and peaceful place. Enjoy stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, pedal boating, and fishing, and crabbing just outside of the house. Three-minute driving to the beach, a short walk to Jamaica Beach swimming pool and playground, and adjacent to Galveston Island State Park. Schlitterbahn, The Strand, Pleasure Pier, and Moody Gardens are a few miles away.

    The house is a two-bedroom and two-bath home. It sleeps up to 7 guests: one queen bed, one full bed and bunk beds twin over twin. Large upstairs deck with abundant seating and table space. Breathtaking views of the sunset. A deck downstairs provides additional seating and tablespace as well.

    Amenities include:
    - Two Stand-Up Paddleboards
    - Two kayaks
    - A four-seater pedal boat
    - Fishing and crabbing gear
    - Beach toys, beach umbrella, and beach chairs
    - Washer/Dryer
    - Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus

    The owner has provided access to water equipment. Please use them with care and at your own risk. Guests are required to review the house rules and sign our rental agreement.

Excellent Vacation Rental

The property is beautifully decorated with very comfortable furniture. It appeared to be professional cleaned, given the fact that the house is super clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and fine chocolates which made us feel that Lisa was happy we were there. Communication was great. When visiting the Galveston area again, I would love to stay at Lisa's again.

The property was amazing. It was so clean. There were lots of things to do very close. When it started raining, I reached out to the manager, and they let me know how to secure the boats and everything really quickly so they were definitely on top of everything I had an amazing stay there. Cute home on the water

We stayed here to take advantage of fishing at anytime of day. Not a long drive to Galveston busy areas. It great to have kayaks/paddle boards and a paddle boat available to use as well as safety equipment and beach equipment. The kitchen was a perfect size for my party of 4. Everything was very clean and the owner was extremely helpful and prompt in response to any of my questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Quaint Jamaica Beach Bay House

It was a perfect location along the water with amazing sunset views. Kitchen is fully equipped and we appreciated the Pinot Noir gift. We caught five fish off the lower deck and enjoyed the Yolo boards. The house stayed nice and cool during the hot days. We look forward to staying again. We looked to come back for Thanksgiving but it was already booked, so book early and enjoy.

Amazing!

Such a wonderful getaway! The house was beautiful, pristine, and fully stocked for anything you may need in a home away from home. The water toys were so much fun and everything was easily accessible. We fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, you name it, we did it! Absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with family or friends! Wonderful Experience

Everything you need is here! House is comfortable and didn’t feel cramped for a family of 5. Tons of amenities! We caught one crab every day and some fish…fun memories with the kids. Internet was fast; no streaming issues. Lots of cooking supplies and spices. Neighborhood was quiet. Boating on the canal with kayaks/paddleboards was relaxing. Highly recommend this place!

Overall perfect. Place was just as pictured. Only thing that I would change is to add an ice maker. Fridge does not have an ice maker but there are ice trays provided. House was very clean. One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at. Owner takes pride in their property and it wasn't furnished with 'cheap' appliances and furniture.

Fabulous!

We did not want to leave! We rented a golf cart to make traveling to the beach easier and to explore the community. Jamaica Beach is so quiet and peaceful. My husband couldn’t get enough of fishing right off the deck. Our 8 yo loved hunting crabs on the beach at night and catching crabs in the canal w the crab traps. I loved having the washer/dryer available. The sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Beach Vacation

I brought the kids here for a week of fun in the sun in Jamaica Beach. The house was wonderful, and the owner was very responsive to messages. We like to make homecooked meals, and this kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to do that (minus the ingredients of course!). Other great things about the property are the comfortable living room with large TV which was amazing for down time for the kids in between beach trips. The garage was well stocked with plenty of things to do....The kids enjoyed picking out their beach toys/boogie boards from the selection. There was plenty to play with!

Very nice and clean property that is well stocked.

The house is lovely and well stocked. I appreciate it being clean and love the W/D upstairs (we’ve rented ones in the past which were located in the garage). Only complaints were that the second bed (full sized bed in second room) is extremely uncomfortable. I could not sleep on it and as a 50 year old female, I chose to sleep instead on a twin sized bunk bed since it had a mattress topper. The other let down was that the property had a paddle boat to be used and in pictures it is available outside, in the water. While they had the paddle boat in the garage, it is heavy and there is no way we could have carried it out to the water and took it back out of the water. We were looking forward to using it, but did not attempt to. My daughter did enjoy the paddle boards though. Other than those two complaints (the mattress being a big one), we enjoyed the beautiful home.

I would give our stay 5 stars however we did have bumps from the moment we checked in. Checking in was easy. However, the property was not cleaned. We asked to check in earlier and were told no because the property was going to be cleaned. Which was not true because that did not happen. I contacted Lisa the host right away, she apologized and sent the cleaning crew. She was very responsive and prompt. The mattress in the guest room/kids room was not comfortable and the beds were super squeaky. Every time we moved they would squeak. I must say the home itself was really cute. The kitchen was fully equipped with spices, dishes, and everything you can think of. The garage itself had everything for fun. The kayaks, paddle boat, paddle boards, fishing poles, life vest, beach chairs and beach toys for kids and much more. I would have loved to give it 5 stars but the cleaning issue and the uncomfortable beds is why I am giving it less.

A great place to spend a couple of weeks. The house was as good as the pictures and super clean. The host was prompt & courteous. It was the most fully furnished place we have rented in a long time. We normally go to Galveston in our motorhome, but we loved this place enough to go back at a later time. I highly recommend this waterfront home.
