The primary bedroom features a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. Combined with the full sleeper sofa in the living room, this unit comfortably sleeps up to 5 people. Whether you’re looking to spend time on The Strand, the beach, or a quick overnight before a cruise departure, this loft is the perfect home base for your trip. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS BUILDING. IT IS ALL ONLY STAIRS! ● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1\. ● Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal. This is a historic building with early 20th century building materials and single-pane windows. Noise may be present. ● Beach Access: Less than a 4 minute drive from the beaches at the Seawall. ● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates. ● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps. ● Pet Policy: 1 pet is allowed with a $25 fee per pet. I loved being just a few blocks off of the Strand; we walked to the Opera House, Rosenberg Library and to supper each evening. The price was really good for the location and amenities. The only thing that gave me pause was the lack of dedicated parking. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to pay and park nearby. Ended up being in Galveston during Mardi Gras which was a lot of fun for our kids. The lofts is an older building so you do hear everyone coming and going. Night time was a little rough due to the people above who didn’t sleep at all. The loft itself is very clean and nicely decorated.
