"Heritance Kandalama is set in a beautiful location and amazing lake views. Great hotel Interiors and views. Unfortunately besides the panoramic view from our room, the actual room itself was lacklustre to say the least. Bathroom is outdated with no amenities. Room furniture seems like a hodgepodge ..."

"Breakfast was mediocre. Building needs more maintenance. Its a nice property and i am a former employee of JK which is the parent company of this hotel and it was wonderful. Not any more."

"Not luxury but nice nonetheless! Stunning view of Sigiriya Rock from the bar and pool. Morning buffet was fine. Did not have the evening buffet as just ordered a la carte. There are some nearby dining options but need to take a taxi or tuktuk at night because of elephants."
