Nice hotel but the facilities need improvement
The staff are nice and helpful. But the facilities of the hotel may need for improvement. For example, there is no coin laundry service or payment laundry. You need to walk 15 mins away to have one. The staff will provide the color may for you. And also there is no internal phone in the room, if you need any service, you have walk out your room to have public phone to dial-in to the hotel staff.

The positive aspects of this hotel are that it's a good price and is in a good central location. The staff are polite and friendly. However, there are several areas that could be improved. The rooms didn’t feel entirely clean, not because of the cleaning staff, who seem to do their best, but because the facilities are somewhat worn down, with visible damage to furniture, walls, and fittings. While the mattress was comfortable, the bedding type slipped off easily and often touched the floor, which felt unhygienic.
Checkout is at 10am instead of the more common 11am, which is not great, and the lack of luggage storage service which is standard in every other hotel but not this one made it even more inconvenient. Lockers are available, but they come at an extra cost of 500 yen for medium size and 1000 yen for the larger ones that would fit a commonly carried large suitcase. Unfortunately, there are only four large lockers, and they were all occupied when we checked out, forcing us to make alternative arrangements and cutting into our final day in the city.
Additionally, there is no designated smoking area. Guests must request an ashtray from reception each time, which wasn’t ideal for privacy or convenience.
I like the hotel because it’s near to a few stores and also really close to the train station, the street food it’s close, the staff are very friendly and nice.
Pros:
a great location for shopping & dining,
very friendly staff, a few local and a few sri lankan,
Cons:
heard all the noise from neighbors room (upper room, next room, corridor),
no service for storing luggage after check-out but there's a coin lockers.
Clean, room. But surrounding rooms where extremely noisy at night. I heard the nearby room peoples shouting until 1:00 am. And the person on the room up ahead walking a lot. The noise was extremely unpleasant.
Also, the lockers for the suitcases are really expensives...

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
The hotel had zero amenities, no laundry you were not able to ship the bags. The hotel was also not cheap and looked very outdated. The front desk staff that was JAPANESE was very nice, the others ones weren’t so kind.
That was the most terrible experience. The hotel staff were unfriendly, the equipment was old, and the cleanliness was awful. If you’re thinking about booking this hotel, don’t hesitate… TURN AND RUN!!!
