The staff is nice
The breakfast tastes good ¥2000 for adults
Near to station and surrounded by supermarkets and convenience stores
Everything was great about the hotel. Especially the location. It gets 1 star off because its small. but, it's great. Don't look anywhere else. Just book here because you are in the middle of everything. Walking distance to Hakata Station and other places of interest.
This hotel was ok. It’s actually a nice hotel and the room itself was nice but it was extremely small and there are almost no amenities that other hotels have. The rooms are so small there is barely walking space. If you are alone or maybe a couple it would be fine but if there are more than two people forget it and we got the three bed room so I can only imagine how small a one bed or two bed room is. Also, there is no coffee provided not in the room nor in the hotel unless you pay for the full buffet or wait until 11am when the cafe opens. There is no closet space and hardly any bathroom counter space. The AC was decent but not cold and the TV only has Japanese programming no English and even when I streamed my own prime video I couldn’t get English. The staff was ok. Not friendly like other hotels interesting Japan but not rude, just not what I expected. The hotel is not near too many restaurants that we wanted but maybe for others it would be ok. There are only 3 washers and 3 dryers so be prepared to wait FOREVER for laundry unless you do it in the middle of the night and it is so hot in that area. I would not stay here again if in Fukuoka. I would pick a hotel near Hakata Station instead and definitely one that has bigger rooms. While a fairly nice and decent hotel and the price was great, it’s not for me. However, I’m sure many people have no problem with it. Just keep in mind no coffee and extremely small rooms.
one of the staff I forgot her name, who speaks very good English was very helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. close to supermarket, and subway.

Overall it was a comfortable stay. Near to the train station and ita walkable to both Tenjin and Hakata area. The room size is very generous for Japan standard. The only thing i dislike is the lobby scent, its really funky, almost like sewage to me.
I was bit worried about the cleaness after reading the reviews but my room was tidy and clean and there were good quality of disposable slippers so my foot didn't get dirty. There's a long spacious table and a comfortable chair which were great bonus.
The hotel room is value for money. The bed is comfortable. But the cleaning service has to be improved as the cleaner didn’t picked up the rubbish on the floor.
Room is small with no wardroibe but has bathtub and is clean. Breakfast spread is decent. Convenient location - nearby train station, bus stop and walkable distance to large mall (Canal City). Market is right outside hotel entrance. Parking in hotel requires reservation (limited spots - operated via car lift by hotel staff) but may be cheaper to park nearby overnight if short walking distance is acceptable.

The living room and bed are comfortable, but trash bin is very small and the auto lighting is annoying
Rooms are teeny tiny. Basically space for the beds only. Also found it really odd and frustrating that the entrance light is motion activated. Plus it’s next to the bathroom door meaning any time someone uses the bathroom at night, the light goes on and stays on for 3 mins. This isn’t a dim light. It’s very bright.
The next morning I talked to the front desk who said they can’t deactivate it but did offer to put a shade around it. This in a sense deactivated it but made it also so that light could not be used the rest of our stay. We stayed 7 nights in total.
The room staff was very friendly and efficient.
We had 4 in our room including 2 kids. For some reason they didn’t count our youngest although they are 4 years old. So we didn’t get 4 towels, only 3. We told the front desk and also specifically asked for 4 towels and on those days we got them but if the next day we didn’t tell them, it was 3 again.
One front desk agent was nice and friendly but the rest I will politely classify as unhelpful and uncaring. Went through the motions and with some attitude. Especially one talked to my friend condescendingly.
Location was fine. It was nice being next to the fish market and close to the water. Bus stops are conveniently close too.
Overall, I would not choose to stay here again and would not recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay at Cross Life Hakata. The hotel was clean and safe. The property was well maintained and we were close to bus stops and about a five minute walk to the subway terminal. Staff were very friendly and the hotel has coin laundry on site and easy to access. The room we had was a quadruple bunk room and although we all had beds, the room itself was very small with limited storage for suitcases. However, we knew this when we booked so it wasn't a surprise. We did notice that the trash cans in the room were very small and it made it difficult for us to get our trash removed during our stay. Trash must be in the trash can for it to be removed but most of what we had didn't fit. I went to the front desk and asked for an additional trash bag so it wasn't a huge problem. There is breakfast available on site but it was a little more than we wanted to spend for our family. There was limited food options around the hotel which was a challenge for us. We spent most meals at convenience stores which was not ideal but worked. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for families, especially families who need to do laundry during their stay in Fukuoka.
