this was a very unique hotel, the hospitality from the staff was extraordinary, the ambience was Zen, the onsen was clean and warm, with a perfect Mt Fuji view. Loved every bit of our stay :) can’t wait to come
back again!
Amazing place to spend our anniversary. The staff were very helpful with our young kids. The garden out back is bigger than you expect, there's a bridge you can cross while staying on the grounds.
Loved our stay here! The rooms were clean and spacious. The view of mt. Fuji was stunning. We really enjoyed the included Japanese breakfast buffet and authentic dinners.
amazing experience with top notch service and ryokan room, with many fun amenities provided at venue
excellent staff who tended to requests as best they could.
You get way more then you pay for =D
It included matcha tea and a bunch of extra things ❤️
Ans yes most of the staff spoke very good English aswell!
Was there with a group of 6. Would recomend!
The hotel had a great view of Mt Fuji when it's visible. Our Sanri room had a nice window ledge where we can stare at that view all day and we can also see it from our private bath. The public baths were great as well. You can clearly see Mt Fuji from the rooftop bath (which switches genders between morning and afternoon) and there's a way to see it from the large public bath.
Dinner was great - we had the same room and the same server who was great with explaining all the dishes with seasonal flavors. Breakfast was a buffet with quite a bit of selection.
There was a shuttle bus taking you to Fujisan station, Fuji-Q highland and Kawaguchiko station which was very convenient for us.
This hotel experience from check in to check out was exemplary. Our room was a delight, comfortable, direct view of Fuji, the lounging bed by the window, the amenities in the room and the Japanese customs that we were to experience were all outstanding. Our private outdoor mineral bath was wonderful. We really enjoyed the special dinner with many courses of mostly new foods that we never had before. Exquisite. What a treat. We would definitely make it a point when returning to Japan to plan more days here to enjoy the beautiful gardens and atmosphere. Thank you so much.
The staff were on another level, they are dotted around the hotel and always on hand to help. They were incredibly accommodating and even helped me with some confusion about what to wear to dinner... The waitress at dinner even helped me practice my Japanese. The drum show in the evening was amazing, and the room itself was a little haven, the onsen are clean, the Fuji view onsen is beautiful, the food at dinner was 10/10, I honestly cannot fault this hotel one of the nicest places I have ever stayed
A wonderful stay, the property is beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in a traditional Japanese style onsen which was and interesting experience. The dinner was amazing and the facilities are excellent
Me and my partner had a one night stay here. I found the check in and check out process quite easy.
We chose a room option that came with both kaiseki and a private outdoor bath. We both LOVED how relaxing it was to lounge in the outdoor bath, and while we are in a position to have Mt. Fuji views, we were not fortunate enough to experience it due to the cloudy/overcast weather. As nice as it was to experience the kaiseki, it was just OK.
Our room was very spacious and I loved the addition of the kotatsu. I do want to note a disclaimer that there tend to be lots of mosquitoes during the fall, so I would definitely bring repellent of some kind if you intend to stay during the fall months. Overall, we both thoroughly enjoyed our night stay here.
My wife and I were genuinely blown away by this hotel. Difficult to describe fully how great of an experience we had in the short time we spent at the hotel. The garden on the property along with the available amenities throughout the hotel are truly exceptional. I recommend anyone stay at this hotel if given the opportunity. It will shape your perception on what the standard should be for hospitality.
Truly wonderful. Easily the cleanest, most beautiful, and awe inspiring hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I almost don’t have the words to describe how great of a time my friends and I had here. I will remember the Mt. Fuji view and the gardens for a very long time.
