We came to see Mt Fuji but unfortunately experienced rain on of the days. We were almost grateful as it gave us an opportunity to hang around the property and use the hot spring/sauna/cold pool. The staff was very accommodating and the extra little perks, such as the free wine and bath salt bar were wonderful touches. The property is very new and clean and cozy, even at night with the bonfire pit and string lights. Perfect way to enjoy nature, but also have some luxury. Their ability to communicate in English is limited and I would ask that you PLEASE NOT pay for their meals if you aren’t ready to cook raw meet by yourself without supervision on a grill. The Expedia posting doesn’t say anything about this but there were NO vegan options expect for a salad and everything is served to your raw and you need to prepare breakfast and dinner yourself. Half our group was vegetarians and we were not comfortable using the grill without appropriate grill ware and ended up having to throw away the food. One of our group also was burned in the process of making dinner.
