"Stayed here for one night to visit Mount Fuji. Accommodation was clean, with all facilities needed. Futons gave a real Japanese experience. Close to train station about 10 minute walk. We had a good view of Mount Fuji from window. The area itself is very quiet with limited places to eat/ drink but our main reason was to visit Mount Fuji. "

"Enjoyed our one night stay at this Ryokan style hotel at Kawaguchiko. Staff was really helpful and very nice. The ambiance was peaceful and had the traditional Japanese aesthetic. Also got to use the on premise public onsen by myself! And our room had direct view of Mt Fuji which was awesome since we were lucky to get clear days. "

"This is a great hotel near the Mt Fuji train station, their included breakfast was our favourite of our entire Japan trip. My only note would be that it was a little disappointing they were unable to accommodate luggage storage overnight for us as we climbed Mt Fuji for one night and the train station nearby doesn’t have a lot of large lockers so it left us scrambling on our holiday to figure that out. Additionally, this area feels more residential and the more touristy area is near Kawaguchiko...

"The onsite onsen is amazing and easily the best one in Japan (that we stayed at). We were able to hike Fuji one morning and head to the onsen in the afternoon. One of the baths had a view of Fuji, too, a dry sauna, a cold bath, and was beautiful. The hotel portion was good too."

"This is one bedroom (with 4 single beds), a tiny tatami room and a pull-out sofa. It is small and basic. The photos give the impression it is much larger."
