"The property was spacious and the kitchen very well equipped with new, high spec appliances and loads of pots, pans, gadgets and crockery. Living and dining area was good for up to 8 adults max. Bedrooms in the basement were adequate but poorly ventilated with no windows. Location in village was great with stunning views from parking area which doubled as terrace and eating area shared with 2 other properties so outdoor eating wasn't very practical and so very disappointing for a summer holiday....

"Quirky modern goodlooking rooms. Friendly reception. Confusing booking rules for meals and spa for non Spanish speakers. But most of all breathtaking view and surroundings. Peaceful for sleeping and awakening for hiking. Never experienced anything like it anywhere. Really cool, luxurious, private and beautiful little spa connected to the hotel. "Charming and cosy, antiques and lovely decor. Very clean and quiet, excellent breakfast with superb coffee. Parking is on street, but a 1 euro fee (city fee) allows for overnight parking ( get parking permit right away at check-in and put in your dashboard) . 5 minute walk to restaurants and shops and Romanesque cathedral, as well as a star fort of Phillip II vintage. "
