Beautiful grounds, our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was efficient and friendly. Be aware that access to rooms in the “Kavilier Haus” above the restaurant requires making a long walk on gravel surface and then steep climb up a curved stairway to reach the first floor. It has a quiet elegance that I enjoy. My room was in the Jagdschloss itself, and it was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was wonderful and I appreciated the selection of pillows. I especially loved the nearby forest and lake, and the walking trails. But it seemed like a long time. You can walk around. There is the garden and the lake, which is not a new thing in Germany in general. I’d much prefer it if they had some bikes to rent, then we could go through the green areas. Also, they could have some small boats on the lake. It seemed like there were so many unused potentials. However, I have to say the staff were extraordinarily nice. The rooms were clean.
