The hotel is good and clean. The front desk staff were very friendly. It was hard to find the parking lot. The room is very small and they shot down the heater and I had to ask the front desk how to make it work. The breakfast lady was not vey friendly. She was checking everyone’s room number, yet she came to me and asked me my room number again while eating.

Room was hot, stuffy, and noisy

No air conditioning, no fan, just a long sob story about how they didn’t want guests to control their own a/c because they might make it too cold? The room was otherwise nice, and clean, though lots of road noise. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of variety. However, given a choice, I would not stay here again.

Positives: - spacious room and bathroom - comfy bed - efficient airconditioning Negatives: - location about 25 min from the railway station and the centre (on foot) - a big construction site next door (waking you up at 7) - looks like it will go on for quite a long time… - breakfast would have been plentiful if the trays had been refilled - we went for breakfast three times between 8.30 and 9am and every time half of the dish plates were empty and unless you asked, the staff didn’t refill them. It was a pain to ask them to bring more cheese/juice/vegetables/coffee cups etc.

Nice Place, but Could Use Some Improvements

The room was very clean, and the breakfast selection was excellent. There were definitely a few items that could be improved, however. 1. Someone needs spend five seconds using a drain clog cleaner in the shower drain in the room we were in because it drains very slowly. There’s probably a lot of hair in it. 2. I’m sure this won’t change, but there isn’t enough space for even two people to put their clothes. My daughter and I were there for four nights, and I had to keep all of my things in my suitcase because there were only enough shelves for her things. 3. This will also not change, but the very small exit from the parking garage is pretty bad. I damaged the front bumper of our rental car one time when I was exiting, and from the looks of the wall, I’m certainly not the only person to do that.

We’ve stay at this Hotel many times over the years when it was owned by Ramada Inns. It recently sold and looks as if the new owners have made some upgrades to the rooms. The staff is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Great beds but I’m not a fan of the pillows, just a bit too soft for me I prefer a firm pillow. Will stay here again.

Total disaster, the staff offers me a later check-out then one person at this hotel charge an unagreed amount on my credit card without agreement from me, high amount also. This hotel is not fresh at all, electronics are broken and the staff is rude, avoid this hotel my highly recommended!

the best place to stay in darmstad

i was looking for a simple and inexpensive place to sleep for a couple nights and H+ was the lowest price so i expected a real dump and was happily surprised to find a great hotel. my new favorite spot in Darmstad! the breakfast was great and the room was perfect and everyone that worked there was helpful and professional etc

Staff was super nice and helpful. Bathroom towels have seen better days and shower wasn’t draining and could use a deep cleaning. Beds are comfortable and room was pretty spacious but the windows were facing the street and the street lamp was shining into the room. Curtains didn’t help at all. Overall stay was good and we will definitely return.

Nice place better if restaurant was open

The staff was very nice. The disappointment was the restaurant was o ly open for the breakfast buffet. With it being a holiday, many restaurants were closed. The bar offered "snacks" but was closed Christmas eve and day. There was no place to get a meal. The breakfast buffet was extentive and good. Housekeeping knocks loudly at 8am everyday, saying Housekeeping but they do this on the entire floor then start the cleaning.

I was surprised that they had gone upstairs to my room and removed my luggages after I had informed them in the morning that I would be leaving later than 12:00 noon, they had mentioned not a problem, for every extra hour we would charge you 10 Euros which I agreed... However they had my phone number as well as my email and as a courtesy to the guest they should have either called me or emailed me and asked for my permission to enter the room and removed my suitcases...Will not be going to this hotel again...
