Long Weekend with Friends

We had a great long weekend at 4111 S Ocean Drive. The location was great and the service and the property and Zen Rentals was attentive and friendly.The unit was a little dated and could use some minor updates, but overall our expectations were met and we had a wonderful time.

Great stay with million dollar views!

This is a beautiful property! Check-in was seamless, and the location is well-situated between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. The unit is well-appointed, and what few questions I had throughout the stay were quickly answered. Response time was excellent! We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future!

The space was perfect for the 5 of us, everyone had their own bed and bathroom. Laure was so attentive and checked in with us before arrival, she was great to receive our groceries in advance, and throughout the stay. The pool was beautiful! Highly recommend!

This property is absolutely beautiful! You get a gorgeous oceanfront view as well as a spectacular city view. It’s very spacious, quiet, and clean. The pool is clean and spacious. Laure was so responsive to all my questions and needs. We will absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Gorgeous property!

The unit is amazing! Each room is tastefully decorated and the view outside is beautiful! We had everything we needed to be comfortable. There are a lot of things to do within the building as well - spa, gym, pools, restaurants, beach access, etc. We definitely need to come back to enjoy it all. All in all, great stay!

Laurie and the property were great. Biggest thing was that I was working g for several days and asked for a late checkout so I could enjoy my family and the condo before heading g hone and Laurie was accommodating bc she didnt have a guest right behind us.

We rented this property for a ladies weekend and it was perfect! The view is incredible and the condo and furnishings were so nice and very clean. Laure the owner is so incredibly helpful and friendly. She was very knowledgable in answering our questions about the area and made some fantastic restaurant suggestions. She made herself available to us during our stay if we needed anything. This was an overall great experience. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Property

The property manager was great. Stayed in touch before our arrival and even arranged for an early check in and met us there in person. As for the property itself....5-Star. The view is incredible and I’ve got zero complaints at all. Will book again if the opportunity arises.

Easter break

Was just perfect! Location in bang in the beautiful beach, beyond amazing views, lovely lovely apartment - bright, clean and breezy layout! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and we enjoyed cooking with such beautiful views! Only one thing that could be improved is the linen…towels were a let down and the sheets could be fitted! I’d still give the highest ratings!!

Nice place for family

Excellent communication from owners. Pics accurately reflect property - only issues were more with the building than the unit. Very slow elevator during busy weeks, pool and beach attendants not very polite, facilities not all in working order. This is a good place for a family vacation - think a Westin. This is not luxe like 4 Seasons / St Regis / Ritz.

Wonderful family vacation !

The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures ,spacious,clean. We were a family of 5 adults and loved hanging out on the over-sized balcony . The views are awesome that we were sad to leave . Laure was fantastic , she greeted us when we arrived and answered all our questions. The pool and bar area were great ! Loved the food by the pool restaurant where we had breakfast and lunch .The location is convenient to all .Thabks Laure ! We had a relaxing wonderful week ! Can’t wait to return .

Beautiful, modern, clean home with breathtaking views in a beachfront resort building

We had an amazing time on our family vacation at this property. The apartment is spacious, modern, well decorated, and simply beautiful. Breathtaking ocean views with a large wraparound balcony. In a resort building with all the amenities you could want, including private beach w beach service, pool/hot tub w poolside bar, restaurant, cafe, valet car service, etc! The apt had all the essentials to cook/ make coffee at home, launder beach clothes at home, etc. Laure was incredibly Hospitible and helpful both before and during our trip. We cannot recommend this property more and look forward to returning again soon!

Beautiful condo!

We had a great time and loved this condo. Pretty much everything you need including beach chairs! Laure was great and very responsive. You are given 1 hard key to get into condo, we ended up switching lock on door so it didn’t lock automatically unless we were all out for the evening, the key cards only let you take the elevator to this room, so I felt secure. That was a little confusing but once we figured it out it was no problem. Highly recommend, this is a beautiful place 😎

Beautiful Property

The condo was well maintained and very clean. The views were spectacular and the resort amenities were very nice. Easy walk/drive to other restaurants and conveniences on the strip. The few downsides to this place: (1) there is one elevator for all of the condo spaces, so it can take a while to get up/down based on time of day. We often pushed the elevator button and waited 10 minutes to be able to go down to the pool. (2) Property was also odd about towels - so maybe the owner could provide additional towels for activities outside the resort (for instance we rented a boat one day). (3) The condo had limited supplies- one trash bag, one dishwasher tablet, etc. We left stuff behind for the next guest staying so hopefully they can use it! The property manager was very responsive.

Underwhelmed

Check in process was a little rocky. Getting a hold of the manager was NOT easy. Also, keep in mind, if you stay here, there’s only one elevator going up to the unit and it is shared with the entire building. The building itself was nice, the beach was nice, but the actual room was super run down and things were falling apart. All the flooring is made of cheap materials and is not maintained, there are gaps everywhere. The refrigerator was DISGUSTING. It has not been cleaned and there is rust all on the inside. The toilet paper holder was completely broken. The only nice thing about this place was the view. Overall, I didn’t like staying here and I definitely won’t stay again.

The Good and The Bad

First of all, the property management team that I worked with for check-in and communication during the stay was the best I've had. Super helpful and accommodating. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. Zero issues at all with the space. Plenty of room, great kitchen, great views, all of it awesome. The issues I have is with the property itself. Although the condo was amazing, these issues should certainly be considered. I had heard from many other reviews about the elevator issue but I just wrote it off as people being a little too picky...I was wrong. It literally is one elevator for 40 floors and if you go during any of the busy seasons, you will wait 15+ minutes for the elevator. It got so bad, we took the stairs on numerous occassions....26 floors. The beach is great but no matter if you have a 1,2, or 3 bedroom condo, you get two chairs and I had to fight to get 5 towels. Seemed a little silly to pay the type of money we did for 3 bedrooms and then have to rent chairs. Everything down there is expensive so be prepared for that. Property manager made us aware of daily resort fee and valet fees, so no surprises but still very expensive. Highly recommend, maybe just not during the super busy season:)
