"Really enjoyed our night in the blue bell , lovely room and a very comfortable bed. Very nice meal in the evening and a lovely breakfast in the morning what’s not to like so when we find ourselves hiking in the area again we will definitely be looking to stay a night or two in the Blue bell"

"lovely clean warm room with large bathroom. Well provisioned with water ,teas and coffees. Very attentive staff who made sure we were fed and watered. We have now used the Black bull twice for stay overs and cant fault it. Easy parking, great bar and tasty ,quality food."

Only downside was the bed was very hard and uncomfortable for my wife and I. Great destination for a stopover during a journey or quick visit to Bamburgh and the surrounding area. "
