"This property was a sweet escape and very relaxing. I could live on the front porch! The sound of the creek water running by while relaxing on the bed swing was heaven. The hot tub was great and well maintained. The cabin was clean, plenty of space for our family of 5 but still had a cozy feeling. It was the perfect ending after being at the beach for a week. Sometimes you feel like you need a vacation from your vacation. This place fulfilled that need. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed."

"What a great cabin - when it says rustic, it means it. The doors are different color paints all peeled off, but beautifully stained and sanded down. This optimizes a wooden cabin feel - the chairs, the beds, the tables, even the lamps were made from wood!! So pretty! The kitchen has everything you will need to make dinner for your family. The beds are large and comfortable, plenty of towels. We left shampoo, conditioner, and detergent for the next lucky visitors. We did not use the hot tub because my children were scared of the hornets that were around it, but this is the wild lol. The sunset was amazing, we roasted marshmallows in the fire pit. Lots of fun things to do next to the cabin, really had a great time with my family."

"My husband and I and our 2 adult children recently stayed a week at peak season.Pros: kudos to the cleaning crew- every corner of the house was spotless! Beautiful home with airy open floor plan, a sun deck, shaded deck, porch, and screened porch- everyone found their favorite spot. House was well-equipped and we lacked for nothing. Bonus that there were kayaks, floats, and pdfs to use- a nice feature that made our trip memorable!My husband is in his sixties with a bad knee, but he never complained about the stairs. If you live in a 2 story home, you will have little issue with the stairs, though the top section has odd spacing which might be difficult if you have mobility issues. I don’t think there is always a railing.There is a community dock just past the house. The boat traffic was fairly minimal and they observed the no wake zone and were friendly and fun to watch.Cautions: We would have liked better directions. Once you get to the cemetery at Lake View Drive, don’t follow the sign up the hill. You want the lower gravel road that feels more like a left fork in the road. If you are a reader, bring your own books.We stayed the week of 4th of July. There is an annual party at the end of the cove that culminated with loud activity. I was dismayed at first, but we ended up enjoying it. If you want a quieter stay, you might want to avoid holiday weekends. We look forward to returning!!"
