"It was a wonderful setting that was mostly secluded from others. You are only a few minutes from access to the river. There were great views from the deck and lots of wildlife. My kids really liked the hot tub. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had a lot of amenities. The drive up the driveway was steep but our Honda Odyssey made it up every time."

"We had some issues with the first cabin that maintenance could not resolve. It was a bit of a hassle, repacking and all. The issue was not their fault, and things happen from time to time that are just unavoidable. However, Amy did a fantastic job finding us another cabin, which was fantastic in every way. We really enjoyed the rest of our trip."

"We had a relaxing stay at the cabin. It didn’t matter that it rained the entire time. The covered porch with chairs and the hot tub gave us a way to enjoy the sounds and scents of nature. There were plenty of clean towels and a reliable internet connection. Our host was very responsive too!"

"Where do I even start? We absolutely loved our stay.Our trip started with Highway 129...holy cow! We laughed, we squealed, and by the time we got here we all agreed we'd never take that road again. It was definitely an adventure!The minute we walked in, our teenagers said, "This feels like Grandma's house." We all smiled because it was true. It didn't feel like just another rental. It felt like a home.The biggest surprise of the whole trip was the hummingbirds. We cleaned the feeder and made fresh nectar, and after that we couldn't stay off the porch. My mom finally looked at us and said, "Well honey, wanna go watch Hummingbird TV?" 藍 That's exactly what we did! We spent hours out there, and honestly, if there had been a daybed on that porch, we'd probably have slept outside.We celebrated my mom's birthday, explored Cherokee, and saw Unto These Hills, which absolutely blew us away. Even with the rain, we wouldn't change a thing.The hot tub had been struck by lightning before we arrived, so we understood that wasn't anyone's fault. During one really hard rain, a gutter came loose. I texted the host that evening, and she answered within minutes. She was so easy to reach and genuinely cared about making sure everything was okay. That meant a lot.Thank you for sharing your home with us. We came here hoping to make memories, and we left with more than we expected. We already know we'll be back."
