Lime Tree Resort was a decent place to stay. I would stay again, price is moderate for the area. Amenities were good.

A little elbow grease and you'll be GOLDEN!!

Posted 20-Jul-2016
Pros: Location!!
Cons: Basic room and building maintenance.
Location: Hotel offers kayaking, paddle boating, and bike rentals. Grab one and enjoy the day :)
This really is a sweet little spot with great access to it all. Surroundings are breathtaking, accommodations are great. You basically get a good amount of everything for a great price, however the rooms and overall upkeep of this hidden jewel does require some TLC. Simple maintenance of fixtures (sink handles, shower tiles and corners etc), sturdiness of wobbly toilets, tighten some loose steps leading up to Bouganvillea Suite, and re-plaster some cracks on walls, and pillars. Aside from these small nuisances this place is truly a gem. Staff is SUPER friendly and courteous, rooms are clean, hotel surroundings are beyond awesome, and picturesque. I would come back, especially if they add the extra TLC to fix the tiny flaws.

Good location

Posted 20-Jul-2016
Pros: The location was perfect! The room was clean and spacious and the a/c was excellent. The bay views were spectacular! Basically a pretty quiet place.
Cons: The grounds could be maintained a little better. Upgrades could be made as well. (Pool, lounge chairs)
Location: It's at mile marker 68.5, basically in the middle. If you enjoy fishing, snorkeling etc, the choices are plentiful. A bit of a ride to grocery stores.
My husband and I decided to finally check out the Keys for a long weekend. Overall, the place was very nice. Great location, right in the middle of the keys. We got there about 2:45 and the room was still being cleaned. Only had to wait about 20 minutes before we got in to it. (check in at 3) I was a little disappointed in the beach concept. While the area is very nice, you really can't swim unless you wade through some slippery muck before finding a clean area. Loved the hammocks! Enjoyed the "wildlife", (Land crabs, curly tailed lizards, doves) The landscaping was awesome as well. The view for sunsets was perfect as well as the view from our little front porch. I am thinking that it should be noted that there isn't much for little ones to do besides the pool. Maybe should be an 16/18 and above recommendation? Or an area for small children? The on site restaurant was a little pricey. The free continental breakfast was actually pretty good! The staff was very friendly.

Covienent Hotel Cheap price

Posted 19-Jul-2016
The location was great. However, it was not up to par. They said they swept and mopped before we checked in. My 1 yo was crawling for all of 5 minutes before she was covered in dirt. There was a dead roach in the bathroom. Hair in the sheets. And the fire extinguisher is 2 years expired and hasnt been inspected since. When we notified staff she said it was just inspected, it was not recorded. But for the price and location, it was reasonable and we coped! Survived to tell about it. I would recommend it for a last minute trip but not for the price. The complementary breakfast was nice.

Good value close to the beach. Room was clean and comfortable. We spent quite a bit of time on the dock, playing chess and swinging in hammocks. The whole property was very clean and the staff was available but not intrusive at all. We snorkels around and saw some fish and a big lobster! Good for amateur snorkeling at least. We also used kayaks, which was nice too. Only complaint I had was that the pool is too hot. Need some kind of shade or something.. Just like taking a hot bath and offers no relief from the heat.

Tolle Atmosphäre

Posted 16-Jul-2016
