Beautiful and peaceful setting

Posted 05-Dec-2016
The back of the hotel overlooking the water was a pleasant surprise. It offers many choices, including hammocks, thatched roof tables and beach chairs that invite you to relax and enjoy the view. There is also a fishing dock that added to the charm.

Relaxing views of the Gulf.

We enjoyed our visit and the relaxing lazy days at Lime Tree Bay Resort! The restaurant on property, AquaPazza was quite tasty for lunch. Great values all around.

Pros: free kayaking, dock heated pools. near water. townhouse big.
Cons: kitchen needs the basics, fix ice maker and dryer
We went at thanksgiving and there wasn't enough forks for 8 people so they had to get some more. The dryer didn't work well. No Ice maker just some everyday inconviences. The restaurant across the street not good expensive.

Great location. Very clean room with an ocean view and a huge balcony to enjoy it from! Friendly staff. Centeral Keys location. Canal access from the property across the street which was a nice surprise.

Lime tree experience

Posted 23-Nov-2016
Pros: The vibe/atmosphere....quite laid back and the staff.
Cons: The bathroom.
Location: Rooms near the road are affected by traffic noise. Further in it is quiet and peaceful. The nearby state park is worth a visit.
Staff were extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The beach, seating, jetty and small swimming pool created a a fine vibe. The bathroom was just about ok, but the room was nice with a good view from the balcony.

Off main property stay.

Posted 22-Nov-2016
Overall our experience was good at this hotel and would return again. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite off the main property with our 2 year old. We did arrive in the evening therefore it was dark which is where the major issue is with this stay. There is no lighting not even a motion spot light for the sidewalk leading to your door which is around to the back of the bulding from where you park your car. They also did not leave any lights on outside of our suite so walking with a 2 year old and bags in complete dark did not make for a good start to the stay! The room was great for our small family , the bedroom was spacious and there is a full kitchen with a full size fridge although the cabinets need some tlc it does serve its purpose.

Nice location, has potential for better things

Posted 18-Nov-2016
Pros: Good location
Cons: customer relations
Location: Everything is half hour away because 45- 50mph limits
Drove a few hours from Ft. Lauderdale (on a wedsnday) with some traffic. Arrived at Lime Tree Resort after 3:30pm. Our room was not ready, apparently, so the desk clerk asked for my cell# and suggested we go next door to the restaurant, or walk the grounds. We walked the grounds, then went to restaurant for long desired cocktail, but ... nobody there! We waited possibly 20 minutes before a girl came out and informed us the bartender was late and she could only serve us beer and wine. After no call from service desk about our room, an hour later, I went to office to find our keys waiting, but the room was not what I selected via expedia. I debated the issue with the desk personnel but was not offered a reasonable substitution. I feel this was a bait and switch on either Lime Tree Bay Resort (likely) or Expedia effort. No matter, I was very dissatified with my room. I spent time researching the venue. The photos of rooms were not accurate. VERY UNHAPPY

Nice hotel with a beach

Posted 18-Nov-2016
Pros: One and a half hour from Key West
Location: Has a beach and a swimming pool.
Convenient hotel, close to the highway. Restaurant next door. Parking behind the hotel, so you had to transport your luggage.
