  • Large, bright apartment with attic located in the historic center of Florence in a characteristic building of the 1200's five minutes from the Santa Maria Novella railway station a few steps from the Duomo and the characteristic Ponte Vecchio. Silent. Bright apartment on the third floor with parquet floors and exposed beams on the ceiling that give the apartment charm and style. The large fireplace in the room creates atmosphere. It has two bathrooms, one of which has a hydromassage bath and shower, finely finished. Large modern kitchen perfectly equipped with dishwasher and oven. TV led. Laundry room with washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.

Place was great. Lots of space. Great location close to the train station. Had everything you would need and the host was very responsive and helpful. Only down fall was the warm main bedroom. It didn’t cool with the air conditioning.

Our family of 5 loved this place. Much more space than we expected, clean and comfortable. Great restaurant and small grocery store steps away. 5 minute walk to train station and short walk to the busy areas of Florence.

Property was as advertised, comfortable, spacious and clean. It had everything you would need for either a one night stay or a week. Centerally located so perfect for visiting Florence. The host responded very quickly on all questions. I would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Under the Roof of Sofia. Very convenient to the sites of Florence as well as the train station. The place was very clean and comfortable. Was on the third floor with no elevator, so may be an issue for some. Would stay there again.

Wonderful time at Sofia's place

The location was great close to everything. It was very clean and our family enjoyed it. The apartment is very well layed out & the kitchen is very well equipped. Save some energy at the end of the day for the stairs.
