Accommodations were as described. Lovely property, great neighbourhood with terrific shops at your door step. The host was very attentive and provided white glove service. The location was close to all the action but without the noise and congestion. Would highly recommend.

Our family had a WONDERFUL time staying at this apartment. It is exactly as described, very clean, very beautiful, a great location within Florence, and the sweetest, most dedicated hosts we have ever met!
If you need anything while staying here, Tommaso and his family are here to help! They helped us book transportation, restaurants, and private tours as needed, and provided a wealth of information about the surrounding area.
You will not be disappointed with your stay.
Not only did we build lasting memories of Italy, but we met new friends along the way.
Thank you Tommaso and Family!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this apartment and Tommaso, the host. He greeted us when we arrived and meet us to say goodbye. The space was perfect for 3. Well appointed kitchen. And the gem of the property is the outdoor garden. Walking distance to many nice restaurants or to the main section of the city. There is also a bus stop within 1 block. One of the best VRBO stays I've ever experienced.

Our family had travel a lot over the years with VRBO and the other sites. Tommas was by far the best host we have had. From meeting us at his perfect apartment to checking in via WhatsApp during our stay. He even booked us a car to the train station on our last day. The apartment is very well appointed and very comfortable. You are walking distance to everything you need, restaurants grocery store and all the sites of Florence. If you are considering Florence, book this place you will not be disappointed.

We booked this on short notice when we decided to visit Florence. Tommaso is an excellent host who provided many recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. The apartment is the best short term rental I have ever stayed in. Its very well decorated, centrally located and the garden area is beautiful, literally an oasis in the middle of the city.
I can't recommend this property highly enough. I'm already planning a return trip for a longer stay.
Thanks Tommaso, you were great help during our stay

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment! The kind VRBO owner, Tom met us to help us with our bags and show us around the apartment. The wall art in the apartment is amazing! And the space was perfect for our family of 5. My daughter even said the futon was super comfortable. The large garden is a treat. The neighborhood was much quieter than most and there were a handful of cafes just down the street. Walking to the historical center was pretty quick and enjoyable. Tom also gave us recommendations for drivers, dining, things to do, etc. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend this lovely apartment!

The best experience we have ever had with a vacation rental! I am very picky so I do not say that lightly! Tomasso, the Host, truly wants you to feel like you're a guest in his home! We were two couples traveling together and felt like we each had our privacy. The apartment was spacious and beautifully designed. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. He also provided detailed instructions and videos on how things worked. The garden was lovely and the perfect place to have a glass of wine after sightseeing all day! We also loved the area! The Oltrarno "the other side of the Arno" is the quieter side of the city but still very close to the city center, and has many restaurants and beautiful areas. We really enjoyed our stay and meeting Tomasso! He was kind, helpful, and responsive, before, during, and after our stay! We look forward to returning someday!

Our family of four, ( 2 parents, 2 teenagers), spent three nights in this really wonderful home. Our stay mirrored what everyone else has been saying about their stays here. The communication with Tommaso began before we arrived and continued throughout our stay. He enthusiastically greeted us and gave us a thorough tour of his family home and made us feel like we were now part of his family. He was always just a text away from us with answers to questions and recommendations about his city. Absolutely the perfect host! The home, as has been said in previous reviews, was immaculately clean, wonderfully furnished, and just the right size for a family. The bedrooms were very comfortable with their own, individual air conditioners and bathrooms which was perfect. The garden area was very beautiful and peaceful for a quiet morning coffee! An added bonus for a traveling family was the washer and dryer that we definitely put to use when we had time. We enjoyed the location as well. It was walking distance to shopping, sightseeing, and dining. It didn’t take long to get know our way around the neighborhood! Tommaso went to great lengths to make our stay enjoyable, including arranging for a taxi and personally coming to see us off when it came time to leave. He is the most gracious, friendly host you could find! Our only regret is that we could not stay longer! Thank you Tommaso!!

We feel so lucky to have stayed all too briefly at Tomasso's gorgeous home in Florence for 2 nights! The place combines history, authenticity and location with modern comfort and convenience as well as beauty.
The apartment is spacious, the beds very comfortable, the bathrooms are lovely, and the kitchen has everything. And then there is the garden, which is a jewel. It is the perfect place to relax before or after a day of exploring. Everything in Tomasso's home has clearly been chosen with care and impeccable taste.
A couple of notes: the stairs to the master bedroom are quite steep, so may not be suited to little ones. The upstairs bedroom is loft style, so open to the living room below but still feels quite private. One of our children slept on the fold out futon just outside the downstairs bedroom. He said it was super comfortable.
Tomasso was the consummate host and helped us with anything we might have needed help with as well as things we didn't realize we could use help with. He was super responsive before, during and after our stay, arranged parking for our car in a nearby garage, insisted on taking our luggage up the stairs, and booked a table for our dinner on the evening of our arrival and a lovely restaurant down the street. We could not have asked for better hospitality or a lovelier place to stay during our visit to Florence!

This apartment was perfect for us (five days). Best VRBO we have stayed in throughout our travels. Family of five (three teenagers who all had plenty of their own space). Quiet street with good options for food right down the street and quick walk across the Arno into the center of town. Exactly as you see in the pictures. Apartment was very clean, spacious, comfortable and tastefully appointed. Garden - great to relax in. Washer/dryer - extremely convenient. Pick this place when you decide to visit Florence. You won’t be second guessing and wondering why you did, like we all do when we book VRBO’s that don’t look or feel anything like the pictures and reviews you read.
Tommaso – what can I say? Wish all hosts were like him. If I only had half the energy he has and exudes. His love of Florence and his home is obvious from the moment you meet him. He met us when we showed up earlier than the check-in time and was kind enough to help us with our bags and also allowed us to leave our bags while the apartment was still being cleaned. He walked us through his home and let us know everything we would need to know to make our stay enjoyable. When we had questions on things to do, he was helpful in providing great recommendations. He also helped set up transportation when we decided to do a beach day and he even made reservations at restaurants he thought we would enjoy. Always available and quickly responded when we reached out with any questions.
Perfect home and host.

We had the pleasure of spending five nights at this apartment in the San Niccolo neighborhood south of the Arno River. We have used VRBO many times for lodging abroad and this apartment and experience was easily the best we've had in all of our travels. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, easily accommodating the four adults in our party. It was impeccably maintained and the layout easily allowed for privacy for the two couples in our group. The outdoor space was gorgeous and large, hard to believe considering how centrally located the apartment is.The back of the outdoor space is literally the wall built in the 15th century that encircled the city. Everything about the apartment was more than we ever hoped for. As amazing as the apartment is, even more remarkable is the owner of the property, Tommaso. He could not have been kinder or more generous. He was there as expected when we arrived and offered his assistance throughout our stay. He arranged our transportation to the airport for our departure, assisted us with making a dinner reservation, and even took note of the birthday of one of the people in our group and unexpectedly delivered a bottle of wine to celebrate her day. Every text I sent to him was responded to immediately. He was the absolute best and we all consider meeting and interacting with him to be one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for everything Tommaso!

Thomassio, the host, is without exaggerating, the most kind and helpful host we have ever experienced! He was so generous of his time to wait for us for our arrival in the middle of the night and then introduced his incredibly stocked home with so much space indoors and out!
The apartment is beautifully appointed. Very high spacious ceilings. Ancient Timbers from hundreds of years ago combined with lovely modern touches, glass railings and floor to ceiling cabinets. The bathrooms fixtures are quite modern.
The entire place is immaculately spotless.
Once you settle in you will never want to leave. The garden outside is private and not shared with anyone else. The back wall of the garden was the original city wall built in the 1500s-1600s. The gardens areas are so charming. There is a lovely covered tent with table and chairs with a horse head statue surrounded by pots of herbs, lovely vines plants flowers.
Because the two bedroom apartment is on the top floor,
The ceilings are very high and the feeling is light and airy and uplifting. The decor is very historic meets chic modern.
The beds, pillows and linens are top quality and very comfortable.
The location is perfect. Every day we walked across the bridge into the best shopping areas and near the famous Ponte Vecczio, the shopping bridge and the museums.
Just outside the door you can turn left or right and find enough lovely restaurants to keep you fed for a week w

Our experience in Tommaso’s home was integral to our amazing Florence vacation!
This home is spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Our son loved the upstairs loft with its two walk-in closets, full bathroom, and sitting area. My wife and I stayed in the primary bedroom, with a comfortable bed, private bathroom, and ample storage. The two-story living room is cozy with a fireplace. There is also strong WiFi—a lifesaver during our trip!
The kitchen is great, with a full-size fridge and plenty of cabinets, perfect if you want to live like a local. Beyond the kitchen is the private garden backing up to Florence’s ancient city wall—we could actually touch history! We found this to be a relaxing place to start and end our days.
What makes this stay truly exceptional is Tommaso himself. Warm and welcoming, he’s dedicated to creating the perfect vacation.
We wanted two things for our trip: a private cooking class and help navigating the shopping scene in Florence. He arranged a pasta-making class with Gloria in her beautiful home, and connected us with Cristina, a personal shopper who tailored a shopping tour to our budget. Both experiences were highlights of our trip.
He even made us “just in case” dinner reservations. No pressure to go, but we did—every recommendation was phenomenal and the best meals we had! He saw it was my birthday and had cookies and a candle at checkout-Come on now!
We highly recommend this property AND Tommaso as a host! We will be back!

I don’t know how to summarize this incredible month. I knew from the photos and the reviews that Tommaso and his apartment were going to be amazing and it (and he) did not disappoint !! My husband and daughter didn’t pay attention to my booking so they arrived and said “wow thank you for finding this paradise!!” The apartment is gorgeous down to every tiny detail- beds, bedding, kitchen, artwork, furniture, garden, laundry, bathrooms, showers. Everything was divine. Tommaso himself acts as your personal concierge for Florence and he takes great pleasure in helping you with activities, restaurants, and wknds out of the city. His personal touch with check in and check out is extraordinary. Done with such humor, kindness and elegance. He has become a dear friend and I consider it an honor and a blessing to have met him and had the opportunity to stay in his stunning apartment for our first month in Florence. Grazie mille a thousand times amico!!!

This apartment is a must for your next stay in Florence. It is exactly as described and pictured. Clean, modern, and quiet. My family of 5 (three generations aged 76-8) stayed comfortably in this property for four nights in June. The outdoor space was our favorite spot to relax with a glass of wine after walking all day. The apartment is located on the other side of the Arno, which we prefer, and therefore is more of a local's experience. There is a market for essential groceries and a bakery/cafe just ten steps away. The real hidden gem is the owner, Tomosso. He takes great pride in his property and is a gracious host. He met us at the apartment, gave a thorough tour, and saw us off on the morning we left. He made reservations for restaurants and taxis throughout our stay; we greatly appreciate his hospitality. We would absolutely return to this property in the future.

Dear future Florence visitors,
Trust me when I tell you to look no further and book this property - you will not be disappointed. If your experience is anything like ours, your expectations will be far exceeded and you might find yourself reevaluating if you REALLY need to go to your next location at all before the end of your tour of this amazing home. Within hours of booking, Tommaso sent us documents with everything we needed to know leading up to our stay. While I expected Tommaso would be a good host after reading previous reviews, I did not anticipate the warmth that would be apparent from the moment he opened the door to greet us upon arrival. It is abundantly clear Tommaso is passionate about sharing his love for Florence with his guests, and he makes you feel like a friend staying in his home, rather than a paying customer. Any questions we had throughout the stay, Tommaso was extremely quick to respond, and he found restaurant and shop suggestions that we never would have been able to find on our own. I can’t emphasize enough how much Tommaso went over and above any experience I have ever had with previous hosts.
Now onto the home - it is an oasis - truly exceptional. The garden is idillic. The beds are VERY comfortable. The location is perfect and very walkable. It is clean and beautifully decorated.
When we return, we will time our vacation around when this property is available. This truly is the best rental property we have experienced.
Thank you Tommaso

This was a wonderful experience and the best VRBO we have stayed in over our many European visits. Newly renovated and appointed with beautiful artwork, fixtures and furnishings. Perfectly set up for 2 couples + 1 kid with 2 large bedroom suites and a third partial bedroom with a futon and half bath. It’s located on the third floor with many steps so older visitors need to be aware. We stayed with our two teenage grandchildren who assisted us with luggage. But, with that as the only watch out, the location in Florence was excellent with all major sights and great restaurants within walking distance. Host Tomasso was “over the top” helpful with information and assistance. We stayed 3 days and are already planning a return stay. Highly recommend.
